I am a chemical dependancy counselor at a drug and alcohol treatment center. All the clients are offered smoking cessation DRUGS, it is funny in a rhetorical kind of way. Almost everyone smokes, staff and clients. I vape where ever outside and in my office if I do not have a client. I am asked about it daily as our clientele changes almost daily, I have a standard speil that starts out "yes I quit smoking using......."

I'm in NOC Tech and I vape at my desk all night long. I work 10 hour days, 4 days a week, 30 hours of that solo. My manager is pretty cool with it, as he's just happy I quit smoking. We actually have a lot of vapers apparently across the country and all of them that I know about vape right at their desks without issue. I do make a point not to vape in the server rooms, though. It's the only place I WON'T vape.

I own & operate 6 small businesses I started from the ground up, trucking co, home build/remodel, machine shop, big truck heavy and farm equipment repair facility with field service techs in 3 states, dirt work / heavy construction and a beef cattle operation.
I also manage /oversee a retired aunt & uncle's plant nursery and another aunts cattle operation.
I semi retired a couple years ago, sold my commercial building repair/maintenance and restaurant business's, try to keep my hours down to 60 ~ 80 per week now.

I vape where and when I feel it's appropriate.

I am a over the road, long haul, owner/operator truch driver. I team drive with my husband who is an ex smoker. He couldn't be happier about my vaping. I vape as I please in the truck. Outside the truck is a different story. I never vape at shippers or receivers or in reserants. I have vaped at truck stops and anywhere else we go or stop at.

Interesting to hear others proffesions...
I am an artist, specializing in wildlife and animal art, I also do some gardening to help pay the bills.
Hobby wise, I fish and make bows and generally blend in with the natural world.... I dont vape in front of anyone, the same way I never smoked in front of anyone...I feel too embarrassed that i have a dependance..Up until 5 days ago I was a heavy RYO smoker and I guess that made me a pretty antisocial person as I spent a lot of my evenings out of the house... at least I can pop into the spare room now for a couple of vapes and be out in a matter of seconds

Chef here. Currently work a wood-fired brick oven at an upscale Italian eatery. My boss vapes so it is not an issue for me. I can vape in the kitchen as long as I'm out of view of customers (and I stand under a powerful hood vent so it dissipates quickly) but generally go outside with everyone else smokers included. I'm lucky I guess, I couldn't imagine working somewhere that tobacco was banned entirely.

For me, quitting smoking was just as much about enhancing my sense of taste/smell for cooking as it was being healthier.
