So how many of you don't care about e-cigarettes?

I fill out every dab-nabed thing I can...

It would be better if I just got a link, rather than an essay, or a link to something I have to scroll to the bottom of.

One line of descriptive text and then links.

The problem is I have clicked on dead links in posts. I have clicked on links that take me to multiple lines then a survey that I can't "Quickly" find "the point" of the post. I am kinda sick of it. I have little time to skim a bunch of text seeking a dead link, or a survey that takes 20 minutes to fill out, that then asks me questions about smoking, when I have not smoked in over 6 months.

It is just kind of annoying, to me anyway...

Correct me if I am wrong... this is a HUGE time consumer if things are not "to the point". I try, but I have 2 kids, and a mortgage to pay, a full time job, AND I do work on the side. I have little time to par-oose through dead links and SEARCH for what I need to fill out.

Sorry if I don't fill everything out I can't find quickly.

Alright, you both caught me for one more round. :p

It will not let me copy Storm's signature, when I preview, it says this:

The following errors occurred with your submission:
Your signature cannot be longer than 300 characters including BB code markup.

From what I can tell John, sig editors can be finicky little critters. Try just copying the web address from the first page of Kristin's thread and put that in your sig. Then add your own text. You have to be careful though because the more special effects you add, such as color, bold, etc. the less likely it will except it due to too much bb code.

Heheh, aww finch, not gonna acknowledge my joking flirting eh? ^_^ yah...chances are eventually they'll either get a ton of emails at once, or the mails will just be lost by the server. Also possible that they could get lost in transit...but it is VERY unlikely...sunspots and aliens kinda thing.

Lol sorry Israfil, got busy chasing down email confirmations. :) Besides, I'm still young enough to be flattered, but old enough to know better. ;)

Night!

Shameless bump and question:

Can out of U.S people vote/participate on any of these?

Sure Juan. The two surveys are for all vapers, and I know some people from other countries are signing the petition. What effects the U.S. usually also has some repercussions for other countries and visa versa. IIRC some countries didn't begin cracking down on e-cigs until the FDA started spouting nonsense.

3rd time is a charm. I tried 2 times with my domain email , never got a confirmation. I used my yahoo and it worked fine. I am #238 now ;-)

Great kinkachoo, and thank you and all who signed!! Please remember to print and physically mail the letters, they are somewhat even more important.

edit add- And physically sign all your paper letters that you mail out.

JuanC , Absolutely, you or anyone you know on the planet could certainly sign the petition, the associations petitioned are not government electees by vote, and the petition says clearly something like if they don't cease and desist, you will persuade all your friends, family, people you know, etc. to terminate the support for those bad associations.

Many people all over the world have, had, and/or will have plenty of friends everywhere, even in the U.S., to persuade and encourage to terminate support for those associations. So one of many examples that I could give you is:

Let's say for example that the associations do NOT cease and decist their attempts... You, in a foreign country, then persuade, inform and encourage 10 or 100 people in the U.S. to terminate support of those bad associations, and you can even do it on the web, in this and many forums, or in any and every way you choose.

Signed two days ago, and did the survey.

Everyone who fills out the petition, make sure you check your email and confirm your signature. :)

And print, sign, and physically mail the letters out soon, please :)

(By the way, I'm thinking of making about 100 sort-of-business-cards with the info and instructions for the petition. Can someone please help me figure out the best thing to put on them? The actual link is way too long, I want someone to post a sample and then I can get them done and hand them out and I'll give the local ecig stores a few also. We need lots of signatures.)

Maybe if enough of you PM Rolygate and ask him to add it to the ECF forum notices at the top of forums when people log in. That helped a lot for the survey!
PM sent.

Even got my wife to sign the petition. I am also sending this to my parents. My mom cried when I told her I hadnt smoked in a month. I dont think she wants me going back.

Get your friends on facebook or whatever to sign it also!
Yes, EVERYBODY you know should be willing to sign, and EVERYBODY you know absolutely should sign. We should all make sure that everyone with an email address who cares about us signs this petition.

Why is a yahoo account necessary to get a confirmation e-mail? Are our ISPs blocking this type of e-mail for some reason? I get all kinds of spam e-mail and it goes right into the spam folder. I see no particular reason this e-mail should be blocked.
I tried with AOL twice and never got the confirmation email, and it never even made it to my spam folder. I tried it with my Cox Cable email and it got the confirmation in seconds.

So definitely add AOL to the list of ISPs that are blocking this.
