So, how much has your 'hobby' cost you?

I was looking through my years of orders of vaping device/juices this evening and put the cost at around the £1300 ($2100 USD) mark!

I searched the forum for a simular thread but either didn't look very hard or it's pretty well hidden.

Just wondering if this is normal among others? I don't have loads of mods or even a collection to show for it, just pass on my old devices to others and have been through ALOT of different juices over the years!

Ive been vaping for about 6 years now so it's not that bad in my opinion! Thought?

I have been vaping 3 years now. When I smoked I spent about $450.00 a month on cigarettes and have probably averaged half that a month buying mods and supplies.

I'm only 2 months in and have spent about half of what I would have spent on cigarettes, at this point, maybe less than that. I'm in the market for a Provari though, and that Show Me your girly set up thread keeps making me want to spend more money on vape bling and wraps.

Since May 11th I have spent $1013.51 on vaping but have saved $814 from not buying smokes. If I only buy juice for the next month or so I should break even eventually.

I stopped keeping track of my Vaping related expenses once they topped $2500.00, last year.

Regardless of the costs, it's one of my cheaper hobbies, which I truly enjoy.

I am like most I guess ... I have no idea I do know it is a fraction of what I was spending monthly smoking.
But I do have enough flavors to put House of Pancakes to shame!

I have spent 50% of what I would have spent on cigs. In almost three years I have a nic stock...flavors... almost 25 mods and untold toppers. Set a budget and live with it. As soon as you find a topper you like learn how to rebuild the coils.

I've been vaping for six months and have spent about $2500. Thats about twice the amount i would have spent on cigarettes. The good news is that since I got my REO six weeks ago I've almost stopped buying everything but e-liquid.

Since February of 2014 I've spent around $2300 on vape gear and sauce. If my sig banner is really close to being accurate I'm currently running in the black.

I am fortunate enough to have a quality modder located within 5 miles of where I live and have a whole herd of quality, authentic equipment. At this moment, I'm completely satisfied with my hardware inventory (for now at least) and have only been spending on juices so I can foresee the "saving money" thing kicking in.

I do keep a pretty strict household budget and when I first started vapeing, I had these grand ideas of completely eliminating my smoking budget line item and cover everything with my "mad money" budget. One month later I wrote it back in. If I continue on without any grand hardware purchases though, I'll cut that in half and still cover my juice expenses and incidentals...

Egos, cartos and unflavored nic kept it under $500 total for me for 3-1/2 yrs now. Not a hobby for me.

My time here is just spent welcoming others and helping when I can.

I did the same thing at around $2500. If I had to guess, maybe close to $3500 or more.

Now I'm only spending about $150 a month, I still have an e-liquid subscription and my buying has slowed WAY down.

I've spent about 40% of what I've saved not smoking, and I can probably get about 1/2 of that 40% back if I sold my mods and attys when I quit vaping someday. I'm cool with those numbers.

8 months and I spent 1600$ in harware. I am slowing down now that I have two Reos. I should not need more mods for a while, I DIY and I have enough bf atomizers and accessories...

All I have to do is resist buying more Reos. Which is not an easy thing based on Reonauts
