Hey guys and gals,

So i have been vaping for almost a month now, and I have not even thought about going back to analog cigarettes since (do I hear claps? I think I do) **CLAPS** I started on an ego ce4 kit that I got for a great price, and it certainly did what I was hoping for at the time. About a week later I got a ego twist, and I love it, I may even buy another one just to have it in a different color, or I may even go for that VV KGo which looks sweet and goes up to 5v - cool.

Anyway, I have gotten to the point that I feel comfortable with buying a more advanced device, whether it be a variable voltage, or variable power, both, whatever. I have done my homework and am well past that OMFG-what-do-I-do stage as far as knowing my way around devices. The only thing that I don't have is experience, and that is why i am here today. I want to buy something that is a step up from the twist, but not straight to the top like a provari etc.

I'd like a screen, VV/VP, ohm meter and stuff, but I don't want to spend a killer amount of cash on it. I was thinking about keeping it at the $100 mark. I am right now almost set on getting the VAMO, as it seems to do what it says it does, and it has most of the features that any of the best mods do out there while keeping the price at less than $60 for just the tube (awesome). The only thing I don't like is that it's so shiny and I would rather not smoke out of a light saber (if it's the best deal, I can live with that).

All of that being said, however, I feel like there is so much more out there. I find a new mod every day, and I don't know which one to trust and commit to (this experience of choosing a mod has been much more difficult than choosing any woman in my life, but I guess I do have much more experience with the ladies than I do electronic cigarettes ;)). Do you have any ideas/suggestions as per what to get? I like the VAMO idea, but I am very open to whatever ECF has to say about it. Thanks for your time!

I like the eVic, it's a little expensive, but comes with battery, and charging cable, so nothing extra needed in that dept. does what the Vamo does and more. (Does so much, some might be useless for you, but I like knowing I have options, and can upgrade firmware so it keeps getting better without buying another APV)

If you go with the Vamo, you can always get a wrap from jwraps.com to cover up that shiny and keep it mint condition

I love the Joye products and the eVic, but i was kind of thinking of going with something less fancy so that I still have room to move up. I feel that if I go with a something like that I will just be downgrading from then on, if that makes sense.

It does, but on the same note, why spend close to this amount of money, and get less?
I say, figure out how much you want to spend, then get the best you can for that amount.
I have the eVic, and I love it. I don't have a Vamo (yet)

The kGo vv goes up to 6v. The Vamo would be good or if you are interested in a box mod this should be really nice. Waiting on mine now

You're right, that was a typo on my part. The kGO does go up to 6v. I have also been looking at box mods, but I think I want to go with a tube for this purchase. 3800mah sounds awesome, and it has a pretty cool look going on. I like it! I think I'll go with a box during phase 3 of my new vaping lifesyle. I really like those wooden box mods, too. They are pretty sexy.
