Why did he post reviews of products he knew he was going to sell without making his bias clear and why did he want to keep his product reviews on the review board when he was found out?
He tried to get me to talk to him behind the scenes too but I refused, it's not up to me to judge his position.
I see Cashmere doesn't want us to talk about this, and am happy to let it go ... after we know what's happened.
I don't believe this was ever a "personal crusade" of Kate's. She's just posed the questions that many of us had and they were posed to Parked not with the intention of destroying him but with the intention of protecting the consumers who are members of this forum. I for one appreciate her willingness to put herself in the line of fire. Thank you Kate.
That being said, I think we have now have the information we need to make the decisions as to which supplier we will do business with and which we will not.
I had and still have questions about this situation. What I have taken away from this whole debacle is that like everything in life, nothing is as it seems and just because something is in writing doesn't make it so.
Phone conversations are all well and good. My brother has been in sales for 40 years, and he can do a hell of a job convincing customers they "need" what they don't. Parked's background is in sales, he's honed his skill in communicating with people. Convincing people is what he does.
His review of the Dura was a major factor in my choosing to accept the Dura as a alternative in exchange for a KB that was just not working for me. I spent 3 months of my time and energy, trying to get the functioning parts from Janty USA, had smoke blown up my behind by Jeff at Janty USA telling me that they were "shipped today" but were never shipped at all because they didn't have any supplies on hand.
In the meantime, the reviews continue, JantyUSA is in the middle of a "move" to a new site and I'm fighting for either parts or a refund.
I get my refund and "Shazam!" a new supplier appears in Cowtown carrying Janty products. I order some juice from the new guy, because, hey, he seemed like an up and up kind of guy. But then I get an email with Janty's name on it confirming my shipment. Then I find out that Dietsmokes and JantyUSA are "sharing" warehouse space, offices and computers???
While I and others were waiting for resolution of our issues, Dietsmokes and JantyUSA are busy getting their business plan together and moving into their new quarters. But piss on the customers, they can wait. Then we find out the domain was registered back in November. WTF?
My eyes are WIDE open now in so many ways. I will continue to buy the product that I want and I will be VERY selective with whom I choose to do business. The first whiff of any BS from any one of them and my money goes elsewhere. So for that, Parked, JantyUSA et. al, I thank you.
And this is MY two cents.

(BTW: I grew up in the Metroplex boys, when TI, Collins Radio and Rockwell were kings, the 'Boys played in the Cotton Bowl, I-30 was still a Turnpike and LBJ Freeway was just beginning to be built. You're just lucky we live in the 21st century or your asses would be run out of town on a rail.)
