Soooo Noob mistake

Hi my names matt and i stumbled across this forum yesterday when i was researching e cigs.

I made the mistake, according to everyone, to buy a blu lol

I bought this because i tried the safecig and didn't like it because it was very limited.

I had a couple questions

1. Should i keep the blu cig and buy another or just send it back and buy another.

2. i was looking at the Joye 510 on the beginners vaping page and wanted to know if it has cartomizers too because if i got that i wouldnt want to drip all the time. This seems like a good cig to me but i would like to be able to have to drip once for like 30 drips and be done with it.

let me know and i cant wait to get around these forums more it sounds like a fun little hobby to pick up (and getting rid of a bad habit at the same time)

Hey Matt, welcome to ECF! A lot of people make mistakes at first - it's a new industry, and there's some really crappy companies out there. But there are also GREAT companies out there. You've come to the right place to learn the difference.

1. If you've already ordered it... try it out. You can always return it if you don't like it and get your money back. I tried a Blu cig my friend had, but... it really didn't do it for me. It was... ok. Not good enough to get me off cigarettes though.

And you do have to refill them and drip all the time, like you do with a 510 cart.

2. Yes, the 510 is a good model, and yes they do sell 510 cartomizers. I have a Kr808D-1, which comes with cartomizers as standard, and I don't know if the 510 cartomizers perform the same, but I get hours out of mine. They are re-fillable if you want to, and it's pretty easy.

yeah man I made the same mistake (except I got volcano which is the same thing without the return policy)

get rid of it. from what I hear you might not get your money back for like a month lol
but yeah go with the 510. youll be glad you did. and from there you can start trying out different stuff. but I got a 510 after wasting 80 bucks on volcano and have been in vape heaven. I didnt even mean to quit smoking I just did lol

Hey Zep. I don't think you'll want the Blu if you get a 510. If you get a 510 get it from here Welcome to MadVapes LLC or here Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. . They're the most reasonable places I've found.
I use 510 cartos on my 510 mods and kr808 cartos on my 901 mods with an adapter. I prefer the 510 cartos. They produce better vapor for me (sorry Mistress).

Not everyone hates the blu in fact there are some fans around, but not nearly as many as the 510 or the kr808. The 510 cartomizers are nice. If it was me I would probably cancel the order on the blu and instead of a 510 get an eGo or an eGo clone. The battery life on the 510 is it's major weak point.

I'm very new to all this also, this is just my opinion alone. If you get the 510 go with the manual battery kit- better control and less auto turn off issues.
I've had my 510 manual for a couple weeks with no equipment issues, just juice flavor issues.
The ego uses the 510 parts but has alot more battery life, think roughly 2hrs vs 6hrs but your mileage may vary.
Part of the reason the 510 is so popular ( I THINK ) is because of parts availability and solid cost to quality ratio.
Think of all the conditions you've smoked in then try fit a PV in that fits you. Kinda like buying a car.
I watched alot of Utube and still do to help with the learning curve. look for Grimmgreen and DrVapor vids, I learned alot from them, some of the sponsor vids help also. Good luck on your quest.

ps: I got my 510 kit from Awesome Vapor, e-cigarettes and e-liquid and can say they have very good customer service and fast shipping.

Brad and Driver have a good point. I just ordered a Riva (similar to eGo from a different manufacturer) just to round out my collection.

My thing is idk where to buy what to buy and when and if i do buy all i need idk how to drip or kno when i need a new atomizer and all that so is there a place on this site that shows that kind of stuff and also could people post some of their favorite suppliers (preferably cheaper but still good quality obviously lol)

And of course more feeback is always welcome thank you guys u have been a good help so far

i cant post a link yet but i found a promising kit on health cabin that is called the joye 510 mega kit if someone could look this up and maybe post a link and tell me if this is a promising buy and if it is where should i get juice or any recommendations for juice

Health Cabin is a good Chinese retailor. However, I would personally avoid Chinese juice (Dekank). Some people like them and get along with them fine, but we've had people have issues with them.

The main thing to keep in mind with Chinese stores is that the shipping will be HIGH. If you're going to buy a lot of stuff in one go, then it's worth it. If you're not... you can probably get it cheaper somewhere else, simply because the shipping cost will cancel out the cheap prices.

So, it depends on how much you get. If you're just getting one kit from them... I'd probably buy American instead. In fact that's exactly what I did.

But if you're going to load up on spare parts, PCC's, passthroughs, whatever, then maybe it's worth it.

Don't feel bad i got a Blu too! Send it back!!!!! I think you should go with a Ego set and get a 510/901 adapter. That way you can use the kr8 cartomizers! I got my Ego from Nicotine Nirvana and i love it! I'm new too so i can't be sure on where you should order from. I do like Awesome Vapors juice and TW.

zepfan also on the ecf site at the top you will see where it says "forum suppliers" directly under the main banner at the top... check them out and see what you think, from what i understand you may want to stay away from dietsmoke bad Customer Service but you can do your own research on ECF as well

I have both eGo's and Riva's and love them both (but favor the Riva)...Rivas are cheaper (less than $50 for a 2-pack from VaporJunction) w/ a slightly larger capacity battery (750 mAH).

But I might be a little biased.....

You get to use all the cheap 510 parts....and it takes battery issues out of the equation.

I recommend the 510. I'm also a fan of cartomizers. I get all my stuff from Arno at awesomevapor.

You will find he as a sale right now on all his juice which is the best juice I've found. The 510 blank cartomizers are on his site under the cartridges link.

As tstcvap-er posted earlier, I didn't intend to quit smoking, but after getting a 510 I just did ! I had tried a different model that did not perform well prior to that, it was frustrating and I don't think I even slowed down on smoking (but again wasn't trying).

I would have not beleived it before, but have been vaping only with the 510 for 9 months now.
