As far I know, it's the Coppervape version I have, and it's been absolutely stellar for about a month now I think. Reason I can't say for sure, is that I bought it from a guy on another forum, but it's in the plain black box, with 3 decks, as I've been able to google that the Coppervape version is - can't say if it's a clone of clone though :D
But working great, only downsides is that one of the "deck screws" (where you fit the screw that holds the wire) comes loose when you remove the coil, and I can see a sharp line where I'm guessing the deck rests against the chimney, as in the "ematal" might be wearing off.
I love the vape and the ease of use though, so much that I'm strongly considering getting a few originals when they're in stock again.
glad it's working for you, not many are no matter the maker! I have a Elekar and its been great to, no issues. need a nano though ;)

Wasn't that the glass tanked one from FT that was posted a couple of pages back, with the GIGANTIC protruding 510 pin?
not sure Cindy but, now that you mention it. maybe :)

The State of Confusion
I just built my Squape Reloaded and it vapes like a freight train!

Awesome.....:vapor:

I got the Kingtu clone from MidSouth Trading, it came with all three decks and an extra clear tank (has both frosted and clear).

Ok so I guess don't but the crapola clones?

IMHO: I always try...try to buy original if it's not ridiculously priced (this atty is a bit high priced)...but I have found that if you do some research some clones are just as good as the originals..depends on the clowns...ah clone.... I didn't say that to open up a can of worms...it is just fact! I bought my son (he's 23) a Steampunk mech for about $55.00, best mech he has used...the original is $3,000.00...ah I don't think so...I would never use it!

I own Z2 mechs form HOH and yes they star out at about $150.00, but....but all the parts are replaceable and readily available..so for some things a original may...MAY be a better choice....attys...I am stating not think not so much...

Truthfully the only thing missing from this clone (its a 1:1) Including the box, is a serial number! (who cares, it wasn't $170.00)!

Fact is if you find an original, good luck, I think they are made by Swiss Elves that have been on strike.....:D

No one has them, even in Switzerland!
(At least not within the last 48 hours or so...)

It was less than $50.00 (I actually think like $38.00 or so..and it's AWESOME!

Note: as I mentioned MidSouth Trading sells on Ebay, but has a regular web site that is not live yet, but it has all their contact information and if you cannot find his listings on Ebay (or what you may be looking for from him), simply email him via the web site contacts...

On your Kingtu, do all of your decks snap in tight? Or are they a little wobbly? The only one that really seals tight for me is the curve deck. Not sure if it will be an issue for me yet as I'm waiting on replacement glass.

Have haven't been on the forums for a week or so, I have missed a good few pages in this thread!

Has anyone's "repair kit" for the Squape R arrived from Focal or Fasttech? My kit arrived just now from Focal (along with a shiny new IPV3 from ebay :D) but the 510 pin is exactly the same length as the one my Sqaupe came with so I don't really understand how it will fix the issue?

If any of you folks could shed some light I would be very grateful indeed!

Thanks :)

Techy, do your posts line up with the top of your deck?

Bob from Midsouth is a good guy and he is trying to get mine straight. Mine didn't come with a W deck so I used the standard but it's about 1mm taller then the posts. When I tighten down the screws most of the time it shears the kanthal and NI200 is out of the question.

He's working on getting it worked out for me. He has great customer service!

On another topic Focal said they would take the Squape back if it was not damaged or UNUSED. Really, how do they think I found out it was the bride of chucky? And I didn't receive the upgrade yet but either way I am done talking to Focal about those two tanks.

That item has been removed from FT web site. fyi I just sent mine back. Leaked, replaced 510 pin, sanded screws and 510 pin. I never got it to produce any vaper. I hope they get it working out of the box someday.

I replaced it with eXpromizer V1.1

Just a FYI for those using alcohol and cracking and or decaying their tank. Way to harsh for me. For over a year I have used Denture Cleaner. Wallgreens house brand or any brand. Dentures contain plastic, rubber, and metal. Works like a charm across every single delivery device I have. Comes in packets, easy to use and carry. Even restores some wicks and removes some but not all of the coil crud. With a gunky Kanthal coil I dry burn and sometimes use alcohol only on the coil which flames it into submission. /lol Natch I blow across it. Have not done a gunky Ni coil yet.

strip down
wash with hot water first
then tablet in container with hot water
Place parts and let sit till water reaches room temp
Wash again with water

/done

I just picked up one myself. Let me know when the spring pisses you off, I already have a solid replacement. ;)

Other then that it a pretty decent topper just a little airy with the way they set up the AFC.

I just received a Kingtu clone from an ebay seller. He's the one that had them and pulled them because of leaking problems. It's not on ebay any longer but he was a good guy to work with and kept me informed. It has the three decks, three rings, and a spare tank. I didn't know what to expect based on reading everyone's experiences here but it seems pretty good on first glance. I washed it in soap and hot water and backed all of the screws in and out a few times. I've got the W deck on with KGD cotton and it's firing nicely with no leaks so far. The build is straight forward and quick. I'd say it's on par with my Ehpro Kayfun lite V2 in terms of quality. I like the airflow control and it is quite a bit more airy than the Kayfun from medium to open. I can't say much about the vape yet because I'm getting some oil/machine taste even after the bath. So should I try a Vodka bath? And take the tank with me? So far, so good on this one and I hope my FT Erlkonigin shows up soon. There may be hope on these re-worked versions folks.

Sorry to hear that Roxy. this was my first buy from Focal and probably my last. The tank is not their fault but the customer service was disappointing. In the e-mail that I got today they stated I could return it if it was unused. How in the hell am I supposed to know if it works if I don't use it.

Hey live and learn, worse things in life can happen and this was just a good learning experience. I the bright side I got to try and work out the fix with a bunch of great people! And I own every size o-ring that I'll ever need ;) In the end I guess it was a win!

I just binned Chuckie for the time being. Had to refill and he fried that coil. It tasted like crap again.

If I can fix him, great. But in the meantime I'm tired of this crap. Put a twisted coil on my Taifun and brought him back into the rotation. New coil is awesome!

Get him back out when the M3 screws show up and see how he behaves. If I had been thinking I would have also sent you a couple of BVC insulators with them... but an appropriately sized o-ring may work.

My SqR has been behaving very well since my modifications. Not a single jump in resistance.
