She did tell me that full exchange was their normal recourse, so yes, that could be an option (ask for the replacement parts too). It's just that a few people didn't want to part with their tanks after they got those PITA o-rings in. Only thing is, I don't know if they'll still have some, or what batch it came from, as their stock got pulled from the shelves during that whole fiasco with the OG a few weeks back. But yeah, definitely ask. ;)

Yes you are right, I managed to stop mine from leaking so a replacement could just leak again knowing my luck! I will most likely just ask for the new parts to be sent out and hope for the best as I think this could be a great device if it was working as intended.

I just wish the original came with all the decks or at least you could choose which deck to have, oh yeah and it was actually available to purchase!

Guys, I'm sorry, I've read most of this thread. But couldn't tell if you were able to identify this FastTech SQ-uape Reloaded https://www.fasttech.com/p/1899301
Who makes it and is it any good?

I ordered mine on 10/13/14 and it was shipped on 10/23/14

Now I've read the entire 37 pages of this thread and still couldn't find the answer...

Is it Eleaker or IvogoShorter or what?

AMD, rumor has it that it's Coppervape. I've been looking at that one too, so I went to FT forum within the item description. I'm waiting for reviews now. Probably too new to have any yet.

I guess I am the "impatient" one they are talking about... LOL

Because mine has already been shipped.

I hope it is not CrapperVape

I don't know what the cheapest thing I can get away with is without paying for shipping. And if the minimum order is $20, the Erlk won't be it either.

Yeah, my pin has no o ring either. So that's another missing part. There is one in the bag. I don't have another that size.

This was my first FC order, and I'm not happy with the CS at all.

I have like 10 hours into this thing so no, I don't want to return it. I just want the right pin.

hey all,

I think I got lucky? I received my Squape R from "G Vapers" today (finally!) and it seems legit sofar. no leaks, no shorts, no floppy 510 pin. the machining is spot on, great threads, nice and smooth :)

the tank windows are frosted and g vapers stated it has a glass tank... I *think* its glass, not 100% sure though. who else on here ordered a squape r from g vapers? issues? glass tank? oh and it came with all three decks. however, I was only expecting the W and S decks as stated on their site, nice surprise :) it also came with a SS and black airflow control ring... thought I was going to get SS, Black and Brass. bin awhile can't really remember ;)

so did I dodge a bullet with the G Vapers squape? pretty sure I read some people where having issues.

Yeah I got the Elekar Squape R from Ezvaper. There are no o-rings on the plastic PMMA tank so it moves loosely and leaks like a sieve. I believe this is a fundamental flaw with the unit and there isn't any easy fix for this problem since there is no way to affix an o-ring to the PMMA. I'm going to see if I can possibly get my money back.

The O-rings are not on the glass section. If you look down the main tank with the glass out you'll see two grooves, one in the middle and on at the top. The o-ring should be in those grooves.

Roxy, I will have some news for you tomorrow. I'm taking the second tank with me and going to pick up as many of the O-rings as possible. The tank rings look like they are 18 or 19 mm and I have no idea on the little guy at the 510 pin. I'm also going to see if I can't come up with a better 510 pin. If Fastenal doesn't have them I will press on and look at Grainger (little further drive).

Anything I find I will pick up extras and send them your way. Death to Chucky!

I finally received one of the Squape R clones from FT today. I ordered 2 the same day, but on separate orders. The SKU that I ordered is 1882100.

At first I had problems with the 510 center pin moving, but I used part of a rubber grommet from a protank head. Cut the larger end of the grommet off & used the smaller end to hold the 510 pin from sliding through the black washer that was originally on the 510 pin. Now it holds & no fluctuation in my resistance.

The C deck was already installed on the base, so I decided to do my built on it. I didn't want to fool around with changing decks, etc. if there were going to be major problems.

Problem #2 - my tank was leaking between the SS casing & the PMMA frosted section. Realized that there were no o-rings sealing the "plastic" tank to the SS casing. Those flimsy white o-rings were worthless, but I used a black rubber "pony tail" holder & it worked perfect. No more leaking.

Tried using rayon for wicking, but was gurgling & e-liquid was coming out of the air flow. Redid my wick with Koh Gen Do & now I have a perfect vape.

Hopefully my 2nd Squape R from FT will work just like this one. I ordered them the same day, about an hour apart. One I received today, the other one is still sitting in customs, but at least it made it to the USA.

Now that I know that at least one of them works, now I can experiment with the different decks/builds.

There are no o-rings in those grooves and no way that I can see to get o-rings to stay in there while putting in the PMMA sleeve.

I found these that should fit: White PTFE Orings Size 003 Price for 10 pcs - Orings and More
Check it out and see if they might work. I like these because it's teflon, so it would withstand a lot more heat than regular o-rings. They're just more rigid than the rubbery ones. What I usually see in there (510) is 4mm OD x 2mm ID x 1mm thickness.

There are supposed to be o-rings in those grooves. One of the tips I read was to lube the grooves through the triangle cutouts and push the o-rings as flush as you can get it into the grooves, then carefully wiggle and twist the tank insert in. Here's the post, with a video link: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-vaping-discussion/507143-focalecig-new-fasttech-1175.html#post14368031

stanthemanchan did you get an extra bag of parts? There should be two clear/white o-rings. Now I will agree it doesn't look they will go in there but I will tell that they do. You ask how in the hell would he know, cuz I messed with mine until they were seated perfectly and the glass section is not leaking..... now.
