I have been home sick since wed and going bonkers< no reason to worry just because I own guns>, Hoping I have come across atleast a little civil in my Pro rants. I have little energy to do much other then type here in between naps.

The only 1911 I couldnt get to run was a 3" Kimber ULTRA CPD series II
MY EDC is a Kimber Pro CPD pre series II
The only 1911s I dont own are the Ruger and the S&W with external extractor.

My wife carries the original high cap 9mm made shortly after the 1911 but its of more recent manufacture.

I don't like the Smith, don't get me wrong they make some damn fine revolvers, but their semis I find wonky

I like the earlier S&W models. I have a 5904 & a 1006, they both fit my (big-ish) hands and they both shoot well (for me anyway).

Striker, I would love to try it, have been considering modding mine so this may push me into going ahead. I also found it interesting that Connecticut has had an assault weapon ban in place since '93.

I'm glad you like it. This was a great idea. We should get some kind of lottery or list or something going for it to go around. We should also roughly log the miles it travels. I believe it needs a name.

Really good idea. Its your baby so you should come up with the name. I can make the order form and post links for the SS to keep track. I dont mind, unless you want to do it.

Set some easy to follow guidelines for this. They are as follows:
Please fill in your ECF user name and the state you live in so we can see where Geneva has traveled. Thanks goes to Kwalka for making this happen, and passing this along to everyone so we can try out. The only rules are that when your done with it (Probably should pass it on withing 2-4 weeks) you will ship it to the next person for free, since you will also have gotten it shipped to you for free. When this is all over the last person should offer to send it back to Kwalka. If he or no one else in the group wants it, then that person should PIF it here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...group-treasure-chest-usa-revised-edition.html In sticking to the giving nature of all this no one but the original owner should keep it. It has to be given away otherwise. Lastly it would be nice to know (but is not required) when you shipped it to the next person. Its all part of the fun.

Not a bad idea but I think it should stay withing the coop it came from till we all had our shot at it. Otherwise it could take forever. But if it stalls out sooner rather then later, I think thats going to be an attractive option.

2 days late here, hope everyone had a good one. Traveling Genny arrived today, got her cleaned and filled. I am getting a nasty hotspot that I am trying to work out but the good hits I get between throat ripping hits are amazing. Going to keep working with her but have found that duals are worth getting into. Time for some new bits and to clean off the drill press.
