I had my last cigarette the night before I used my ecig for the first time. From the time I started vaping on I didn't go back to cigarettes. So it was very easy for me to switch I guess. But I have friends who've started vaping & do not find it as easy to give up the smokes. But if you find a juice you like, get the right nicotine level to satisfy you & decent equipment it definitely makes the transition more doable.

Took me three months before I quit cig's. I smoked much less and when I had my last cig I didn't even realize it at the time. Just decided on the way home I didn't need to stop at the store for cigarettes. I really envied the people who quit on day one. Just thought of them as non hardcore smokers. Everyone is a bit different. I still viewed it as winning in my book.

I was able to do it instantly but I was soooo ready and wanted it soooo badly. I fought with myself for 2 years with only smoking 1 day a week (1-2 packs) and then suffering through 6 days of lozenges. This was after many failed attempts through the last 20+ years. I was rationalizing that i was just better off smoking for my mental well being and willing to sacrifice my health and longevity. It was a bad place i was in.

Ecigs took a couple weeks to get rid of the hollow feeling (we all know that one in some form or another). Now it's nothing but pure vaping bliss. It's one of the few times in my life I feel like I'm having my cake and eating it too.

it took me about a month of supplemetning vaping with smoking before I got up the willpower to quit the analogs all together, and stick to vaping. best thing I ever did for myself and my family. Now I prefer the vast variety of eliquids/ methods of vaping them over any analog any day!

Fruit Flavored

$1.99 per 10ml, awesome liquid, awesome price!!

I had about a half-a-pack of analogs left the night I bought my first e-cig in mid-March of this year. I had no real intentions of quitting, but I soon found to my big surprise that I did not crave the analogs very much after vaping. I slowly finished the analogs, and have not looked back ever since. It took a while to find some favorite flavors, but vaping is doing the trick for me.
(Come to think of it, I bought my first e-cig exactly 6 months ago today.....a Blu-cig starter pack and a pack of Vivid Vanilla refills.)
I'm coming up on 6 months in a about a week......no more stinkies, nic gum, nic lozenges, or nic replacement 'therapies' for me!

No, it took 5 days. I went from a pack a day to 0 after five days and smoked a total of 8 cigarettes in those 5 days. The last one was completely an accident. Lit up out of pure habit, tasted like burnt rags. Still have 2 Marlboro 100's in that pack out in the garage.

I smoked analogs for 50 years. I had quit analogs 3 times over that time, twice with patches and once cold turkey. I found I missed all the activity associated with smoking as much as the chemical addiction. Over the last year I smoked analogs, I had switched to smoking cigars (about 6 per day). This January, my daughter bought me a starter kit from Victory. I switched to ecigs with the normal progression (obsession) and have not looked back.

In my head I quit after I took the first drag on my friends Greensmoke cig-a-like, I just knew vaping would work for me, in reality I smoked full time for a week whilst I waited for my own Greensmoke kit, then 2 or 3 smokes a day for about 4 or 5 days whilst I finished off the last of my tobacco after it arrived.

My brother-in-law came over to the house one night with his new eGo type and offered for me to try. He said he hadn't had an analog in a week. Took a couple of toots and thought, hmmm. A couple of days later, I was at the local B&M buying my first kit (overpaid). I vaped all the way home. I had 4 analogs left in my pack which I handed to my neighbor as soon as I got out of the car. Haven't had another since (although only a month and a half). I still get a craving now and again, but remedy it by vaping. It passes soon enough.

What strikes me as odd, I do not mind being around smokers. I go out to the smoking area at work, occasionally. The ashtray smells horrible, but I just position myself upwind of it. But being around the smokers doesn't bother me. Hell, my wife still smokes and it doesn't bother me.

As an aside, the neighbor I handed off my last analogs to, has since started vaping and has quit. A couple of folks at work, too.

I love hearing these success stories! Keep Vaping!!!

Same here… except I choked down my last couple packs to get it over with ASAP.
