Sorry but I've worn a badge. Now I don't. If you treat people with respect then you will receive the same treatment. I now sell a lot and I mean thousands of dollars of products to the LEO's in my area.
Don't be stupid. If the badge says to put your hands up in the air. Then do It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Most accidents are caused because of some flaming college punk kid that he thinks he owns the world.
We are trained to observe and see a threat before it ever becomes one. We just all wanted to go home safe and sound to our loved ones. If you so something stupid like make an aggressive move then you deserve what you get.
I'm done. Been there and done both.

Was running late for work the other day and doing well over the speed limit on Interstate 64 in Virginia. Just when I realize that there is no way I'm going to make it to my destination on time I see blue lights in my rear view and quickly pull over.

As the police officer leans in the car he sees a small amount of vapor and notices my Vamo on the passenger seat." What have we got there he says?" I quickly offer to show it to him and then try to explain that its just a a bigger version of electronic cigarettes.I even show him my bottle of e-juice and point to the label but Im starting to get worried as he's not even cracking a smile.

A few minutes later he comes back to the window and hands me a ticket for speeding 10 miles an hour over. I take the ticket and say Ill try to slow down in the future. I then ask the police officer if Im free to go. "Not quite" he says.............................................. .................................................. .......

"Next time get a Provari!"

:laugh::evil::facepalm::p:p:toast:

There is one individual in this thread that has posted some things that kind of just .....................me off.
We were to qualify with no less than 500 rounds of ammo 2x's a year. Multiple that by 20. Then add the extra that we had to carry. Then the surplus that had to be kept in inventory and used within a years date of purchase CLEET requires that all ammo over a year old be dispensed. After a year it had to be used. Trust your life or your wallet? Or a small attempt to disrespect, I'll go with the first.

The above image is for those posters who continue to use drug referrences on this forum.

I agree with you 1000 percent. Some posters seem to have extreme difficulty separating the two subjects....I cant think of anything to explain it other than being chemically induced themselves.

I was sitting at a red light a few months ago happily vaping on my Vamo when a cop pulled up next to me. When the light turned green I went forward and was immediately pulled over. I was very defensive until he pulled out the little 808 that his wife had gotten for him a few days before and he then asked if I would answer a few vape related questions as I was the only vaper he had ever seen with anything other than an 808. I spent about a 1/2 hour answering his questions and letting him taste a bunch of juices that I had in my case. Once I realized that I wasn't being ticketed it turned into a really kool experience.

And I'll just say that "respect" is a two-way street, and something that must be EARNED.

Our sheriff died this week, during tornadoes and floods, while making a rescue of 2 elderly women who were located next to a river that flooded so badly that there were cars up in the TREES.

The fish and game officer also assisting is missing.

When you talk about *EARNING* something, I'd say any regular citizen would be hard-pressed to match it--- as they are not being called upon, as part of their job, to put their lives at risk for others.

Having lived thru a number of events ending in tragedy, both weather-related and otherwise, I guess I've come to see a very different side of things when it comes to LEOs, soldiers, firefighters, and the like.

my post was deleted, and i am not entirely sure why, although there was two naughty words which were censored. sharing an honest example of harassment by the badge, while it might not sit well with some people, is something that needs to be shared or it continues happening. it will continue to happen. both sides of the spectrum exist, and not all cops are bad, and there are quite a few that are evil, and get a kick out of abusing their power.
my .02, not intended to offend anyone. i have been a victim of their harassment, otherwise i wouldnt have this stance.

other times they think its an explosive with an blue LED count down timer, and some times they get ...... when I reach for it.

Dude don't reach............... man sometimes people wonder why cops open up a can a whup a _ _
Lol ya think they might wanna make it home too.
Yes there are good and bad police. Maybe I have run
accross a few. Not many but I have.
First remember; they are human.
They may have left the house after getting
in an argument with their spouse. They maybe having
financial problems.
Always treat them with the respect you would like to
be treated with and you have a good chance of having
a not so bad experience.

We got pulled last weekend and the cop had no idea that they made ecigs like the Vamo......we got off with a warning after discussing vaping for 10 minutes...lol

Got off with a warning? A warning for what? Vaping is not a crime.

The only "warning" that should have come out of this situation was the warning the officer got from his CO when he got back to the Deprtment, that if he persists in harassing law-abiding citizens, he will be disciplined, nd possibly sued...

That ole bit?

Do you have any idea how much ammo one BP agent goes through just to qualify their weapons multiple times a year?? And how many BP Agents are there? You do the math.

Actually, I do. They are issues 150 rounds for practice each quarter. BPS took delivery of about 37 million rounds in 2012.

http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiep...-experiencing-an-ammunition-shortage-n1558916

And this is typical for most "law enforcement" branches of the Federal government like FBI, BATFE and Treasury.

So who is getting the remaining 1 BILLION, 970 Million rounds? The Department of Education?

Oh, yeah, that's right. The DoEd doesn't use many pistols or sniper rifles--they prefer 12gauge shotguns...

My brother is a police officer here in Kansas City, Missouri and I have hooked him up with a spare REO Grand and cartos and juice to help him stop smoking and the officers in his sector and zone have all been curious about his rig and he has been informing them on what it is. So in short, KCPD is becoming e-cigarette friendly, well at least Center Zone is

I have to re-qualify periodically for my concealed carry permit so, naturally, I took my Provari to the range the last time I had to go demonstrate my shooting skills with an officer and, while he was giving the lessons to the ones there to get their permit for the first time, I was happily vaping in the back row.

When it was my turn to take the range, the officer asked if he could try my e-cig as he wanted to quit smoking and had failed with several attempts. I explained how it worked and popped a fresh tank on it for him. Figured not worth worry about germs if he wasn't worried. By the time I had qualified, half a tank was gone and, I was telling the officer where to order a Provari and Protank and, giving him tips and, my number if he needed help with it.

Two weekends later, the same officer was at my door wanting to learn how to mix juice and, asking to buy a bottle of the blend he had tried on my provari at the range. Now, we are friends, he comes over to target practice on my private pistol range, play with the dueling tree and, swap experimental juices.

So far 3 of the 5 county sheriffs here that used to smoke now vape instead and, a few city cops as well, thanks to my friend spreading the word. As he jokes "Not going to be long before we get a Provari case added to our official belts."
