I browsed through this thread last week and bought one of the 2+ liter cleaners on Amazon. I used it today on some MBV juice and some other company's samples I just got, and it did such a wonderful job. I couldn't believe the difference in flavor from pre-steep to post-steep. Problem is, I got the wrong one. Apparently the one mentioned here was the Joy4Less model, and I got the Kendall because it had Prime shipping. The description seemed to indicate it had a 45 minute timer (what it actually said was the heater shuts off automatically after 45 minutes). This one has only an 8-minute timer.
I ran it through about 6 cycles and it worked great.
My question is - I'm starting to DIY and it seems like I'm going to need to steep freshly-mixed juice for a lot longer. That 8-minute thing will be a real PITA. It would be fine if I spent $20 on the cleaner, but not spending $100.
Will I find it worth it to ship this one back and get the Joy4Less? Would I be just as well off with something much cheaper from somewhere else?
Thanks!
