Bad...Dan anyone.

Dan,
Have to make sure I have batteries before I end up with a gripper in hand with none.
Are the batteries for sale at GV the correct ones for this unit? They are both 18650 so I assume they are the same physical size. One is Sanyo 2600 mah and the other is JoyTech 2200 mah. Would one or the other matter? I assume life span would be the only difference.
Also a lot's been said on the net concerning "protected" and un-protected" batteries. Safety seems to be a big concern with multi battery devices. I am assuming protected batteries have some built in overload safety but I may be wrong. All I know is I keep seeing those words. Probably would be a good idea for you to add that to your site battery descriptions.

Really sorry...the Joyetech 18650 2200's we have in stock have over charge protection and short ciruit protection and they are flat top. I have asked SMOKtech if flat tops will be OK in the gripper and will get back to you on that.

The Sanyo are not protected, but a good high quality battery. I am sure there may be some venting protection on these and I will try to find out more, but as previous poster mentions, the Gripper uses just a single battery, no stacked battery scenarios here.

If the Gripper is a single battery and uses buck/boost technology... you probably need a high drain battery instead of a standard Li-on.... something like the AW IMR 18650 etc

The AW IMR batteries ( and others like them ) are actually LiMN and don't require a protection circuit since they use a safer battery chemistry... Of course no battery type is completely safe and you need to still take proper safety precautions.

Yes a good high drain IMR would be great for these..I am trying to get them added to our shipment (we had some comign already but I don't think enough). BTW we will soon have a complete line-up of genuine AW batteries...

On and you made a good point, the IMRs don't need the protection circuity that normal batteries require that are called 'protected', they do indeed use a safer chemistry and the nice thing about not having protection circuity is that soemtimes that circuitry can cause unusual behavior in the performance of your mod.

I placed my first order with GV and am very happy with you! So, I just made another post, I will be sticking to your PBCs or the new vivi minis... How does your inventory system work? I don't want to run out of PBCs and go to the site and see not in stock... How often do you re-stock? What is the wait time on items when you run out? I'm not rich enough to stock up with tons in advance :) TY! Will you have tons of vivi-minis?

Here's some of the pretty colored ones:

Those are quite nice. Wonder if they could make a screw in one for stardusts too?

Fantastic! I was sooooo tempted to get these from another vendor but kept hoping you'll get them. Glad I waited now. Will just throw it in with my skull and a couple of other things I absolutely need to get my paws on.

Oh yes we have these coming in many flavors and some other very stylish designs...hopefully by Wednesday of next week...btw this is what I thought you meant but wasn't sure...

Hopefully several of these bombs drop in enough time for me to order and get them here to AZ by June 27th before I leave on my trip. I've been holding off on buying anything in hopes these will get here soon. I'm working off used and cleaned many times Stardusts and they are ready for the trash! Oh please hurry USPS!

Really looking forward to the Raven and perhaps the SRT (although I've never had any experiences with rebuildables yet).

Bad or Danno - does anyone know the diameter of the 3mL and 5.5mL Ravens? My new mod should be here in the next few days and I'm trying to pair it up with the correct diameter tank.
