Ouch. I was waiting for this one. A non vl4er who follows Adrenalynn's post for the information.
Right you are I didn't realize I wrote it that way until you pointed it out, I must have mixed nonsocial with nosocomial. Didn't think of lysol but that does work if you have some around.(And I believe you're looking for "nosocomial", not "non-socomial" (NOT in a hospital)

You should take pride in your knowledge and feel fine defending what you know is right. Thanks Wireguy - and apologies: I should have let it go, but dang it... I'd run outta the proverbial cheeks pretty quick, ya know?![]()
I appreciate the correction more than anything, I was unaware I wrote it that way. So no worries. No big, and like I said - not picking on you Joe. I'm betting that Google won't return "nosocomial" for "nonsocial". [just tried it, it didn't] and that's the only reason I posted the note. I know a lot of readers will copy-paste-google a word they don't know, and that was the only point I was making (in my response to you). It wasn't intended to be snarky (towards you) in any way.
I think we virtually know/read each other often enough that we can short-hand that way, right?
>>Wow! Thanks Adrenalynn! But, Strep throat is a bacteria, it is not a virus, and therefore antibiotics are prescribed.
Lysol kills bacteria. 99.9% + where Strep Group A is concerned, in point-of-fact. 99.999% for MRSA (A Staph strain), since it was mentioned. Recommended for both, in fact, by the CDC, and approved for that use by the EPA.
>> you wouldn't appear so crasp.
Your inability to grasp what I write is your failing, not mine.
>> Let's not mix words or scientific methods
Given your capacities for retention of even one - your unwillingness to mix them is unsurprising.
>> cute if you are into micro biology
Quite, actually. Virology, specifically. Vector, more specifically. Something of a hobby...
>> JARGON is not an indication of itelligence.
I'm sure you can agree that the ability to SPELL 'intelligence' would generally be considered a prime indicator...
>> Next time elaborate on what you are trying to convey witout your googled JARGON... smile.
I elaborate upon what I'm trying to convey just fine, "wit or witout" [sic] reference material, thanks!
As far as what I understand or don't - you're making assumptions that underscore your ignorance.
When you develop even some modicum of literacy, and understand the most basic salient points of a topic under discussion, well then feel free to go ahead and attack me again... In the meanwhile, thanks for the laugh...
Is there a doctor in the house? No? Then this isn't exactly the place to turn for medical advice, IMO.
I think Steve's given the best advice; play it safe, don't take chances with your and your family's health, and just toss the carts you've used since being exposed.
But, if you don't go that way, you can take some comfort in the known anti-microbial properties of PG. I'd guess that the biggest worry for re-infection would be the exterior of the cartos, not from the insides.
BA - fascinating subject matter though!
Belle - you'll need a new keyboard if you're drinking when you Google it. It's the ultimate "2-bit word" (and I don't mean "digital")
My favorite words ever in school were LEVATOR ANI.
