Hello, everyone. I'm looking to find the best battery I can actually get (Which I can't find Sony's anywhere or I wouldn't be posting this) that will be safe for me to use with as low as a .35-.4 ohm build. I have a good understanding of ohms law, I'm looking to upgrade from my regulated mod and aspire tank to a tugboat atomizer and a 18650 shotgun mechanical mod, and I just can't find anything that has a strong amp limit and maH for all-day consistent vaping. I've been looking at the Orbtronic PD2900 batteries, yet I've been seeing very inconsistent opinions from everyone on the forums about them so far. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any input to help me find a better, acquirable battery for sub-ohming.

For sub ohm I use vtc5 18650 30 amp. Works out well for me however if you get the vtc5 make certain the seller states that it is a genuine product and learn how to tell the counterfeit ones from the genuine. Believe it or not some sellers even offer a certificate of authenticity. There are so many fakes being sold. If you google how to tell a real vtc5 from a fake, they have some good photos to help you out. Hope This helps and best wishes.

the samsung INR 20R batteries are also 20A continuous (22, actually, methinks). The only difference is they are 2,000mAh (VS. the 25R being 2,500). They certainly qualify and cost substantially less than the 25R.

Last I checked, the Orbitronics were re-wrapped Samsungs (grain of salt). That would be fine as long as your mod can accommodate the added length of a nose job.

Yes, I've looked everywhere, but I can't find them for sale, and don't trust ebay sellers and the like. I would really like to have them.

You can find the vtc4s all over online though and it is the same except a lower mah so it wont last quite as long. Still 30A rated.

the 20r also have lower IR so they hit harder.

I'm using the LG 18650 battery 20A. I use it to sub-ohm all the time. I think the lowest I've gone on it is about 0.3 ohms on my mech and regulated mods. I was pulling 14 amps and that's about as high as I would take it. Don't wanna get too close to that 20A limit. But I've had no problems with the LG battery at all. It doesn't get hot or anything like that while sub-ohming and it's fairly cheap too.

Imren 38A 2600mah or a MXJO 35A 2500mah. I think the continuous is different, but these two work great for me, they are new and some untested but I have run a .21 on both with no issues at all.

I suspect they are 20 amp continuous. Personally, I would rather buy LG HE2 or Samsung 25R so I know what I've got, but that's just me :)
