Has anybody been able to get rid of that annoying whistle sound?
First ten minutes is like a dream, but then I vape a burn taste... do you have an idea?
Is it about the type of liquid,
Is it about vacuum?
What is the problem?
When I loose the top cap to change the balance of pressure, it becomes again ok, but again after 10 or 20 minutes I feel the burn taste.
When I vape I see a bubble come up in the tank... what does this mean.
anyone got a cotton ball wick going on? pictures? Thanks.
Could anybody put some setup pictures with mesh,
or is there anybody using the additional holes in the base unit for alternative wicking.
It is very hard to find this kind of things in a 200 pages thread :-(
Not using a cottonball, but under that way of thinking Iam using a hybrid wick called "Twick" that I bought on Ebay.
IT is 3mm eckowool that has an Organic Cotton Wick inserted in the otherwise hollow Eckowool.
The idea is that the Eckowool outside keeps the superb wicking cotton yarn from burning.
I have only made one wick so far and have been using it for at least a week and it works really well.
Here is a Link to get it if you are interested.:
Twik Ekowool and Twisted Organic Cotton Yarn Hybrid Wick for Atomizer Build | eBay

For four feet, please purchase 2 units, for six purchase 3 units, etc.

This is not hollow, and the cotton core allows the Ekowool to wick like a dream.
Ekowool resists temperatures to 2000+ F.
Perfect for use in RDA's, Ithaka's, Penelope's and many other atomizers.
Approx. 3mm outside diameter dry. Swells to 4+mm with liquid.
For ULTIMATE durability, see my Silica Core SCN-1.5 Ekowool here:
Ekowool SCN 1 5 Solid Threaded Silica Core Atomizer Wick | eBay
Tips for use:
Boiling in water before using is recommended.
To clean, simply rinse off and leave wet.
Quick torch coil area of wick.
Squeeze uncoiled area with paper towel to remove water.
Ekowool protects wet cotton from burning of quick torching.
Softer and more compressible than silica strand core for placing in channels like Ithaka and Penelope style atomizers.
Superior wicking to both hollow, and silica strand core Ekowool.
Natural undyed organic cotton core for superior flavor and capillary action.

Hey Guys,
I'm not sure how it's called...
I just lost my center post screw and insulator on my Kayfun III. I attached a picture of my Lite for reference. It's the screw in the center that makes contact with the mod.
Is there a way to get a replacement? Looks like the insulator is available for purchase, but I can't find the screw anywhere.![]()

Or maybe the size of the screw, in hopes that a hardware store has them... maybe a brass screw???
So sad... stupid me.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
