I know someone posted earlier that their KF4 leaked on an airplane flight even with the juice flow closed.

Can anyone confirm if they leak under less extreme altitude/pressure conditions? For instance, crossing a mountain pass? I'm trying to decide on whether I *need* one of these and if I could depend on them not to leak/flood (with the juice flow closed of course) on my motorcycle trips that could seal the deal... :)

As always, thanks in advance.

...First twisted coil as I have them on hand and want to use, 28 gauge, Japanese cotton wick. Hard to get the coils slammed together for me when dry burning and squeezing, I don't like them as much for this. I also used a hair dryer to flare out the cotton ends and trim to deck length. I placed the coil a lot closer to the air hole, approx 1.5 mm. Vapes the same, maybe warmer. I set the P3 boost to level 3, no primer puffs needed for the coil to get hot enough.

With the JC shut off it is not supposed to leak. I have flown with my Sophia and it never leaked. Shall be carrying my K4 this time and will let you guys know.

Just got back from New York where I spent Christmas with the family. 4 flights, not a drop of leakage. Juice valve worked as intended.

Edit: if there's any juice built up in the drip tip from condensation, that will seep out of course, just use a q-tip or similar to wipe that out if that will bother you. But zero leakage from the tank with the juice valve closed.

Oh great! Mine shipped 12/19. It finally arrived at customs on 12/27. I sure hope I don't have to wait another 3 weeks for it to clear customs.

I'm really not sure where mine is. Shipped on the 7th, then on the 27th it arrived in Chicago and departed 3 minutes later.

I took a picture of mine in front of my dishwasher, but my wife wouldn't let me post a picture of her as s...and needless to say, I'm on dish duty for the next week!

I stay away from the dishwasher for just that reason! ;-)

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Are you guys allowed to vape on planes, or you just take it in your hand luggage?

Except for RyanAir I don't think any other airline permits use of e-cigs/vaping or alike inside the aeroplane. RyanAir 'sells' smokeless cigarettes on flight - and those are the only ones allowed to be used inside.

I go to the Smoker's Lounge / Room and vape there ;)

I just wanted a place that was only builds so that it was easier to look through them.

Product Thread Life Cycle...

1) Thread created generating hype and interest in a product about to be released
2) Chatter about what they think the product features will be
3) Chatter about when they think it will be released
4) Release date announced
5) Order frenzy
6) Ordering problems
7) Delivery problems
8) First people receive products
9) Feature chatter
10) Build chatter
11) Clone wars
12) New product is announced
13) Thread dies.
