While drip tip aesthetics are important to some...

I prefer my drip tip to perform more than just that function.

Check out the Beck Drip Tips By Leo, and you will see what I mean.

Lol..already have 4.. Wait 3, I broke one :(. But if I'm already going to get a colored tank from Spectrum, might as well try their drip tips too

I have a half dozen spectrum tank drip tips. They are my complete favorite. I don't like any metal in my mouth either. Better vape for me than the stock KF4 tip for me too. A bit more open and cooler.

Over 6 months, I have managed to break only one, and that was just a few days ago. Mod rolled off the kitchen table onto a tile floor. Took a chip out of the tip - did not shatter. Probably could have kept using it, but probably not a good idea in general to vape on broken glass.

The do seem to fall off the KF4 in my pocket from time to time. I always worry about losing the tip, but time and again, there it is in the bottom of my pocket. Never lost one that way.

Gonna replace my tip and get some glass tanks for the KF4 from spectrum as soon as they get red back in stock.

Go for it.

I have a hard time doing metal DTs for some reason. They look awesome but I just can't use most of them. Thinking about pulling the trigger on some Spectrum tank replacements for the KF4, has anyone used their DTs? Are they pretty durable?

I love the stainless tips. I've also noticed that a lot of women don't care for them. Not good or bad, just curious. ☺

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

The Beck Model is visually the same on the outside.

But, It's inner bore pulses the vape at a certain frequency to improve the vapes taste.

They also offer a Beck Adapter that goes in-between your topper and drip tip to perform the same pulsing action.

I looked at that. Got to throw the BS flag on that one. Somebody please tell me how a small tube with a smaller hole in it does any of those things. I guess it's maybe possible that you might get a little swirl from possible venturi action but, all that other crap, no way. Pulses at 4500 hz, nope, if it pulsed at all the speed of the pulses would vary widely with the draw pressure. Concentrate flavor, no more than other tips. Flavor and amount of vapor are completely controlled by the coil and wick. Not trying to be an ahole but gotta call it as I see it. Nice looking tip, buy it if you like it but, don't expect it to actually do that stuff. You, might notice a difference based on the placebo effect.

Half of our coil build are based on placebo effect. You think that a thousand different coil configs give a thousand different vaping experiences? Na... Some might be actually different but most it's the wow effect.

I still remember doing a clapton coil... So much work for... Yeah... That... :)

Not sure why but I always seem to taste metal with them, except for just a few that I have. Plus I love warm vapes and in the winter, metal gets so cold.

I wore braces for 7 years growing up. I am done with metal in my mouth.

Here is a discontinued spectrum tip. I like them better but they really don't want to stay put. Last I checked, they are still clearing out the last few colors. If I am staying home, I rock these with great pleasure.

Hey, you two...
Not that I thought you were "arguing" but I went and got some answers and information for both of you!
Got it straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.
Enjoy!

I'll start at the beginning so you know the whole story and I am sorry in advance for the long post. :)
When we created THE Dripper, I liked to vape it without a drip tip. Whenever I got the drip tip out though, the flavor was getting muted. So I put on a rubber carto cap (the ones with the hole which are on the cartos when they are new), believing it had something to do with the diameter of the hole. Indeed, with the carto cap the flavor was much better. So we started testing and after a few attempts, we found the perfect diameter. We tried the ΣΟΦΙΑ with and without the Beck in its upper body ( about 50 people ) where everyone unanimously said it boosted the flavor and thickness of the vapor. After we produced the ΣΟΦΙΑ, a reviewer noticed the upper body would whistle when drawing from the upper body, so he took it to a friend who is a professional musician to measure it. He measured the frequency at 4.500hertz, which is not such an incredible and hard achievement, its simply physics. We then measured it too and we found the same result 4000-4500 hertz, depending on the force of the draw. If you put the upper body in your mouth and draw you will hear the whistle. That on its own is proof of the pulsing of the air coming through the beck. For more proof, you can simply go to a store that sells music instruments, where they can measure it for you.
We where not trying to make it so it would pulse at specific hertz. We did it, so the vapor would get pressured in the beck and make the vapor more dense, removing the "empty" air as much as possible from the vapor, so people would not experience the "harsh hit" that comes with wrong ratio of the air coming from the air port, mixing with the vapor produced in the chamber. The 4.500 hertz is just a bonus :)

Billie is the best! ByLeo is a great company with amazing customer service, and I (along with many others) consider them to be the Provape of Greece!

I'm not a physicist, nor a musician. I am a vaper though : ) . I don't think there would be a bit of noticeable diff with those tips. Common sense tells me other high end brands would incorporate them into their attys, or at least offer them as acessories, if there was a discernible difference. I gotta respect the effort and knowledge though.

So I've been playing around with coil position height over the airhole as I often do.

I've noticed that the KF4 seems to be more sensitive to even the slightest raising or lowering...much more than I've ever experienced previously with other atties.

So, if the TH or VP isn't quite what you want, try moving the coil up and down a bit. The slightest movement makes a relatively dramatic change.

Any further recommendations on coil height?
What about height for F(lavor) rather than TH/VP?

It is removing the "empty" air as much as possible from the vapor.
I see and where is the removed empty air going...

My r91 can have a resonant frequency (it can whistle) but it just whistles dixie, no empty air is removed.

Keep in mind that Bill is Greek. And something may be lost in the translation of language.
