This is how it is today :)

Nice looking coil. I understand ni200 is a pain to wrap and wick. You did good!

Sent with no malice and not a whole lot of forethought from my new Galaxy Tab 4. Thanks Santa!

Thanks. And that's my first ever Ni build. It was pretty easy-peesy tho ;) I actually could re-build it much faster than my regular kanthal setups.

There's a few Modish Metal Works tips I'm thinking would look nice on the K4 too. I've got a Leroux V2 that should be in my mailbox today. The Von Max might go well with the bulge tank, and there's two or three that have spiral engravings.

I know the Avid Vapor Air Control Stainless Drip Tip looks decent as well (IMHO of course). But that one happens to go nicely with my Silo as well and will stay there.

Modish Metals "Helmut" model. They are nice, very snug fit and I can unscrew the fill cap with it installed. 316 ss, which is kinda cool. One of my favs. Kinda wish they would come out with a model shaped like an Erlk delrin tip though.

Hmmmm. Forgot about this, been a long time since using silica. Think I'll go try some again, beats rewicking rayon every couple days. Yea, I'm lazy :)

Well, you still gotta dry burn silica. That means waiting for it to dry first. I find it just as easy (or easier) to just change a cotton wick.

Never even tried silica, just doesn't seem to be a lot that use it. What's the benefit? It looks like a KFl was designed for it, but the V4 was more for cotton wicking With the spaced holes and not channels to lay silica across.

Got it in Ti2.

Agree, it stays put when top-filling, unlike the Vicious Ant. The Ninja Ti2 also stays in place.

May, or not, go for the Glas Ti ($45.00); so still hunting for quality Ti DT's. Bought two from VaporKings...rather run of the mill. IMO.

Ya, the Glas ones are sweet. I think Modish makes Ti too, not sure. I'm going to look up the Ninja.

I think I figured it out. Thanks. By the way, what version of Tap-a-talk is that? Doesn't look at all like what I'm using.

Silica is glass. Therefore, it does not burn. You can crank up the coils and burn off the gunk and blow off the ash. The wick lasts a very long time. It imparts an off-taste for a couple mls then it goes away. Some say cotton and/or rayon wicks better and doesn't have a taste to it and that's why it is better than silica. I found that silica wicks just fine for my 70/30 and has no taste after a couple mls. Most every wick was a silica wick in the early days of vape gear. Cotton and rayon (among other materials) are a rather recent introduction.

Yeah, that is a very old version of TapaTalk.

BTW, I currently use Koh Gen Do (Japanese cotton).

Cool way to keep your tube mod from rolling around, liking it incorporates the top fill cap unlike the other bells I've seen.

Diamond - Tanks - SteamTuners P.C.
I'm curious to find out if it helps stop rolling when connected to a Provari. If it's not wider than 23 mm it won't do anything - right? Looks awesome though.
