Thanks for the quick response guys - I sent a note to Atmizoo and Enushi Canada, and they said roughly the same: not a common problem and the gurgling must be wicking. With a 3mm coil, proper height, they said there's 1mm left between coil and chamber top. With 28 gauge wire the issue rears its head if I were to rap the whole assembled unit on my hand once like a pack of cigarettes.

I'll re-wrap and wick today and see what happens, I've got to be doing something wrong.

The company as well as Brian atEnushi responded with suggestions right away, amazing service!

Anyway, will report after some fiddling.

I almost junked my vape snail because of flooding. Now I think I know what's going on.

There were 2 situations where it flooded. The first was after filling. That one I tracked down to a loose fill hole cover. The silicone pin on the top of the tank was loose and popped out, which broke the vacuum in the tank. I solved that problem by sticking a toothpick in to hold the top of the cover in place while I refilled it.

The second problem was when the battery got low. The chip doesn't actually turn off when the level gets low, it keeps on running at low power so you still get some vapor. Had a battery get down to just over 3V. I don't notice if I'm not paying attention. My guess is I'm sucking on it and drawing juice to the coil but it mostly isn't burning off so it pours out of the air intake. I've been keeping an eye on the battery and it hasn't happened for a while. Someone explained how to increase the cutoff level on the chip but I haven't got around to doing that yet.

Apart from that it's a really nice vape. Haven't had a flood for weeks.

I had horrific flooding and leaking with my Vapesnail when I first got it. How are you running yours. I was running the tightest deck insert, but didn't have the chimney reducer in. I still stick a little extra cotton in the ports after I wick and that actually works great.

I can get you an authentic switch, but I'm not the solder guy. I have one, but I want to hang on to it.
