I've had a couple of new ones where I thought the glass wasn't going to move. I put piece of duct tape on the glass to almost cover it from side to side, hold the box in both hand with my thumbs toward the edge of the glass and pull it down. I have even had to dig my thumb nails into the tape to get one moving. Didn't break the glass on any yet but thought I going to.

i like the vape shell, but no matter how i wick it,i keep getting dry hits,so i have to try the Boxxer.I think the vape shell is struggling to pull in my juice,it's 70vg,and those are some small holes in the bottom.I thought of maybe trying to drill them out a bit,but i don't want to cause a big leaking problem,so i haven't done it.

Once you got your cotton in place and juiced up, I push the cotton up from underneath the holes, if I don't, then I get dry hits, don't know if you've tried that, but put it out there in case you haven't. I use 70VG juice too and as long as push cotton up away from the holes a bit, wicks just fine for me.

They only have red, $27 for 5 day shipping, closest place I know of. I didn't check Ebay.
I think it says 3 days but mine took 5 days.

Thanks for posting link, I ordered the North Bridge from them (shipping pretty high, but is coming from Canada though), unfortunately they didn't have the 0.8 mesh nord coils, so ordered the coils from directvapor, been wanting to try some MTL mesh coils and these seem to have pretty good reviews.

Thanks for the tip,i'll have to try that.I think that is most likely my problem,it's hard to tell if the wick is blocking the holes,i would of never thought to push them up from the bottom though.I really like the vape shell, when i get good hits from it haha,so if it works for me i will be happy.

It should work, as does for me, just don't push up to much, or will get leaking, I can't take credit for the tip though, I got it from one of the youtube reviews I watched.

I thought for sure my glass was going to break the first time i opened them,it is stuck to that gasket really good haha
I completely agree about lubing the gasket really good.Once i got the glass off,i covered the whole gasket with juice, then rubbed it around with my finger. The glass slides nice and smooth after that with no bunching at all.
I bought a pack of 5 glasses from FT...got 3 left. One broke and another chipped. The glasses aren't the best of quality either...I'll get another few packs for future use.

I just broke 3 glass doirs from my 5 pack.
Driving me mad! No matter how careful I am it just keeps happening. Its as if the seal from the gromit is so tight that it just won't move. I'll definitely try the duct tape idea. Any other tips? I tried lubing the glass up with a few drops of 70/30 juice. This last glass I lubed up with pure PG.

I haven't broken one as yet but surely expected to. Make sure the glass is clean prior to applying the tape and apply pressure with your thumbs on the sides of the glass. Stay away from the center.

Thanks for that dwcraig 1. There may be a manufacturing anomaly here too. Getting the new glass in , even fully lubed on all sides, felt like the glass was grinding on the metal edges. Have managed to get 2 in successfully and vaping away but I'm not looking forward to changing my coil next time.
Will definitely give your system a go

Metal edges? Is it a Boro Box or a Boxxer?

    At your own risk.
Place a piece of fine emory or sandpaper on a flat surface and carefully take down the two edges of the glass.Work the edge of the glass against the sandpaper. Turn the glass, be careful to not make it curved or out of square. Try the fit often.
Well that's what I would do in this case.
