Are you sure it's leaking from there and not from the wicking ports?
I noticed ejuice going in between the groves of the gasket with my magnifier. I also noticed juice on the front deck edge above the vapesnail engraving..The first time i built it there was juice coming from everywhere. The seal wasnt tight enough and I didnt pack enough cotton in the juice wells. Now that Ive thighten the seal and and placed the cotten correctly i get very little juice from condition build up and possibly from the negative connection, when I lay the box down to refill the tank. Seems like after a few weeks I get a little juice in that back wall but nothing like before in just one day.

Xeta owners, clone or otherwise.

Do any of you have issues getting the bottom to seat in the boro?

Mine takes quite a bit of force and I'm not 100% sure it's correct. I have no leaking, but worries me that it seems to sit on the oring instead of in.

Thanks.

Yes,they can be quite hard to get pushed through there.Mine have gotten easier over time though, although they are also a pain to get back out after being in there for a while.I usually have to push the bottom of it against the corner of a counter top to get them back out.

Thanks.
I've heard that Mum's boros are a little easier so I have one on the way.

Also bought North Pole tool. It's expensive for what it is but if anything it makes removing and installing bridges a little easier. The Xeta is the odd one that gives me fits.

Also, was able to score a Fawkes yesterday. :)

Actually I had the same problem. One thing that worked for me is to use the AFC to tighten it in place.

Question about an issue that I can't resolve with the Vapeshell.
I've been using a few of these for 1+ years. (I think 3 or 4 in total). I recoiled and rewicked 3 of them the other day. All went well, except for one.
As soon a I filled the Boro tank with liquid- it POURED out the bottom where the Vapeshell exists the tank. I checked that the shell itself was oriented and closed properly. Same problem.
I changed the O-ring at the bottom of the Boro tank. Same problem. I rewicked the coil, 2 different times (more cotton, less cotton: with varying amounts of cotton in the liquid ports.)
Same problem every time. (The other 2 are fine).
What am I missing?

Tony is correct. Accessories are stupid expensive. Between 20 something try hards flexing and the very limited supply it's insane.

I've been hanging my head just trying to get inners that won't require me to sign over my first born, and won't make me feel ashamed to have.

/Rant.

And Tony B just released another 510 bridge.

He doesn't say,but i'm guessing this probably won't work on the clone, unless they used the same threading that JMK uses.If that's the case, there could be a lot of disappointed people since he said 3F and FT will carry it.I don't guess too many authentic owners are buying there stuff from those places, although i could be wrong haha.

Yes, this is the case with the Xeta .Even the authentics. I said on a different forum that they should have made the base like 1/2mm smaller.

I get mine lined up, put the boro on a hard surface and use a coin to push it down.

Like @b.m. said. Yes, they can be a pain to get back out too. Not a deal breaker by any means, but a hassle.

I still am not getting notifications for this thread.

Hi all,

First time poster here having lurked for a while.

Ive just ordered the sxk dna bb, can someone confirm if the threading is now the same as the authentic.

Would for example, a koncio tip fit?

Thanks!
I don't think they are the same.I have a new version 2020 SXK,and i have an Atmistique drip tip that is for an authentic BB.I will find that tip tomorrow and see if it fits, but i really doubt that it will.
On that note though,JMK tips will fit the SXK,so if you like stainless or brass tips, these are a known fit for both clone and authentic.

I will go on the search for a JMK tip in the UK

You may be able to find them over there. He is U.S. based, but i have also seen some Canadian vendors selling his tips too,i can't remember if i've seen any U.K. vendors list them or not.If you can't find them there,it may be worth checking with JMK Tips directly, not sure if he ships international or not,but may be worth a try, they are really nice tips.
