That doesn't mean the vape is better and he is comparing the build to a Vapor Shark which IMO is not as high quality as a hana modz or Vapor Flask which I own.

It doesn't matter anyways now, I'll find out soon enough for myself.

It doesn't matter what enclosure the dna 40 is placed in it will be the same basic vape experience be it a Hana, VS, or custom box mod. I don't own either a VS or Hana but from pics I've seen in the past the VS is much cleaner inside without all the hot glue the Hana has used. But I think we'll both be pleased with the Sx Mini M as I'm expecting to receive mine tomorrow as well. Grats on your decision to order one.

They all use the same DNA40 chip... the vape is going to be nearly identical on all three (VS, Hana, VF) regardless of build quality. That said, the SX Mini appears to be in a class of its own; it appears to work a bit differently. So far, I think the vape quality is better; my subjective opinion of course.

They all use different materials providing different readings. For example, my Hana Modz and Vapor Flask do not have identical readings due to the Flask having a brass 510 pin and the Hana having a SS pin. For me, this requires different temps and wattage on the same builds for each device which gives me a different vape. Vapor production seems to be a little better on my Hana Modz as well. I get better flavor and vapor using the same liquid and build.

Your previous post is what I was looking for. Thank you for that information. I'm looking forward to testing it for myself now.

Don't know how much I'll use the tc at this point as all the videos I've watched make me think nickel is a pita to get reliable builds consistently. But as long as the Sx Mini doesn't have the plethora of problems Evolve has had with the DNA 40 I'm pretty sure it will be my new workhorse side by side with my Sx 350 dual and my DNA 30 will go to the wife.

As I just explained in my previous post, this has not been the case for me. The Hana is providing a better vape for me. Also, the inside of my Hana is clean.

@Midwestguy. Great information. Making me more and more excited to get mine tomorrow. :). Was thinking of hooking it up to a scope myself and testing it out but idk that is actually a lot of work and I'll probably be more interested in learning and enjoying it for a week or two. Lazy me!

Hopefully the creators will give us some more info on it soon... I really want to know how it works; but also understand that it may not be the best idea to publish that information in a market like this :D Regardless, without knowing much about how it actually works, it is proving to be pretty darn awesome so far in every respect.

I will say that the experience with my Vapor Shark has been fine (It's been my go to mod) and it's worked very well since I bought it. I have tried the Vapor flask as well but it was an early model DNA 40 board so I can't fairly compare it but the SX mini M seems to be less picky and far more customizable to user preferences and it lets you easily get the Vape that you want without rebuilding.

Yes there can be minimal difference's in the devices overall resistance / efficiency both on the input from the battery and the output to the 510 depending on what material the modder used for connections and wire sizes. Brass is a better conductor than stainless making it better but I don't know what else is under the hood that could make the Flask work less effectively for you. I've read there are at least 4 different DNA 40 board revisions at this point, perhaps that's the difference. But assuming the exact same version hardware and software you should be able to overcome any performance or vapor experience with minimal power adjustments.

The SXmini's build quality is very good. The board is actually secured with screws, and is very neatly done. The build quality rivals many of the high-end mods I've owned over the years. Quite impressive for a production device. Here is a pic of the S Class internals posted by another member in the SXmini thread:

I had a Hana V4d recently, and it worked for a few days before the display scrambled on me. I did get a feel for how the temp-protection worked, and must say that I prefer the vape experience from the SXmini M Class. The Power modes allow me to "tailor" the vape to my liking, picking up different flavor notes that I haven't noticed before.

I am currently running an Ni200 coil head@ 25.0J / 425F in the SMOK Gimlet. The head is speced for 0.20 ohms, and is reading 0.22 on the M Class. Setup was a breeze, and performance has remained consistent. I am getting a nice, full, thick vape.. Very enjoyable. :) Like the S Class, I appreciate the accurate 3 decimal place readings for the resistance, and real-time battery voltage (when in power / wattage mode).. The device also displays an accurate depiction of battery sag under load.. Just an overall wealth of accurate information at a glance.

The SXmini S Class has been practically glued to my hand since last November.. The M Class has now followed suit... :vapor:

I'm vaping on a S Class with TI coil. It's the smoothest vape i experimented except maybe for Pipeline Pro but at lower power level.
I'm currently thinking to update to a M class or a dna 40 mod as i want to test TC and the vape smoothness of a dna board.
But I cannot afford them both and i really hesitating between the two options.
So i have a few question :

For those who already had a S class and upgraded with a M class :
1) Does the M class provide a better vape than the S class, excluding TC ?
And for those who have both M class and dna 40 mod :
2) Does the M class provide a better vape than a dna 40 mod excluding TC ?
3) Does the M class provide a better vape than a dna 40 mod including TC ?

That's actually Italian and it has subtitles. So do this:

1. Click the "... More" button under the video.
2. Select Transcript.
3. Click the first line in the transcript.
4. Hold the Shift key down and click the last line.
5. Right click and select Copy.
6. Go to translate.google.com and select Italian in the Detect Language drop list.
7. Right click in the text box and select Paste.

Yea someone else pointed out it was Italian already. Thanks for the tip on the more / transcript as I wasn't aware of it. But using translate to me is like reading binary, really hard to try to put the pieces together and make sense of. I'm still hitting youtube frequently for an english overview since several folks received their devices last week it shouldn't be to long before some english videos are up. thanks again.

Here's an example of the translation at 24:33 :)
24: 33The value say power lease coupon dry this something
24: 37molto very interesting because I do so with my circuit sx signo 2
24: 41parametri more they increased only parameter of batman
