Phil Busardo has already posted on Taste Your juice that the Yihi SX-Mini M-Class was "New in the Queue" and posted a bunch of photo comparisons between the original S Class and his new M Class. I anxiously await his usually very thorough review. I am enjoying mine in TC mode using first the Kanger Subtank Mini with TC OCC coils and now with my Delta II in RDA mode using 26 ga, 9 wrap, 2.5 mm rod with Nickel which is reading out as .11 ohm build. Japanese cotton is my wicking material.

I am still experimenting with TC since this is my first TC mod but for the moment I have it set at 24.0 J and a temperature of 415 F using a max VG juice. I must say this mod is rock solid and very consistent pull by pull. At this temp if is a bit cooler but still lots of flavor and cloud production. Who knows where I will wind up with temperature. I am looking for that sweet spot which I would suppose would be different for different juices and builds.

Does anyone have any suggestions or experiences on temperatures?

I ordered from Varitube.com on Friday 4/3 it shipped same day and is out for delivery now. Last I looked they still had certain color's in stock. I'm anxiously awaiting and watching the post box. :)

I can't complain about the expedicacy or professionalism dealing with Varitube. They are now at the top of my go to on-line vape shops.

I decided to put temp-protection to the test... 25.0J / 425F / Powerful mode.. 0.20 Gimlet Ni200 coil head reading 0.22 on the M Class. I ran the tank completely dry. Of course, I would have normally filled it at the first hint of a muted taste, but I just kept going.. and going.. and..

No burnt or scorched taste at all.. The coil head was primed again, tank filled, and totally still good to go.. :) Looks like YiHi knocked it out of the park yet again.. :smokie: SXmini M Class: Temp-Protection good till the last drop... :p

Agree with you 100%. Mailman just arrived and dropped off my SXmini. Only had time to put a battery and a couple different tanks on it so far but first impression is whats already been stated. It's heavy, solid feeling in the hand and fits very well. All joints, seams, threads fit smoothly together. It's actually heavier without battery than my dual SX350 v2 is with batteries :) I am curious on the 510 base though the vent slots don't go all the way to the edge, seems if anyone had a bottom airflow system 22mm wide that could be a problem? IDK I don't have any that breath through the 510 so not sure if that's going to cause some folks problems or not. So far very pleased, it makes vapor with kanthal and I wont receive nickle wire for a day or two so I won't be able to try out the tc functions until then. Should be enough time to learn the menu system hopefully. :toast:

I just love the way it looks! ;)

I know I know, I'm gushing like "Mike Vapes" :) I'm so afraid I'm going to drop it or scratch it up with my wedding band.

Two things keep going through my head. "I'm in heaven from Green Mile" and although I ordered it Friday and really only waited over the weekend "it's here it's here it's finally here from one of Rip Trippers videos" lol

I noticed that Phil has been using the SXmini in the background of some of his recent reviews, where before, it was a ProVari. ;) I'm also looking forward to his review of the M Class.. YiHi definitely has some kind of magic going on in TP mode, and the scope results should be interesting. ;)

I originally purchased a Hana V4d with the sole purpose of comparing it to the M Class. I like to personally compare devices before posting an opinion one way or the other.. The Hana only lasted a few days before the screen scrambled however. :( It was enough for me to experience the DNA 40's TP though, and I must say that I prefer YiHi's solution much better. It seems difficult to get this device to hit TP.. It really holds the set temp-limit VERY well from what I've been experiencing. :)

If one has an S Class, and is not interested in TP, the M Class won't bring much more to the party than the additional Powerful+ mode performance-wise. The device is already practically dead-accurate as it stands. The TP DOES shine in the M Class though, and the ability to choose power modes while in it makes for a very versatile device IMO. Also, the slightly larger size, and rounded edges makes the device even more comfortable to hold than the S Class IMO. It's just more "refined" overall..

Thanks for posting! I am home sick today so I have been scanning the internet for SX Mini M Class info and videos so for the next 18:07 mins, you know what I will be doing. I always watch Mike's channel anyway.

I don't want to be a spoiler for Mike's video, but he is about as impressed as I have ever saw him. He didn't go too deep into TC mode since he just got it and needs some time, but he did do a dry burn test which was impressive too. With the dry burn test the device appeared to not even fire, or not much and then the screen displayed "Dry Coil No Liquid" and flashed it on the screen repeatedly when he tried to use the device in TC mode. He had the device resistance set at .161 ohm, firing it at 24.0 J, with the temperature set at 420 F. He didn't even have a singe on the cotton. I can't wait for Phil's review.
