I just checked that coil has been in for 10 days that in itself is amazing.

Yep you have a point. All I am saying is if you do build a low ohm coil you don't need the high J setting. Like I said everyone is different and that's what makes vaping fun. If thats what you like then that's great. Oh and by the way if you wear a hat no one will notice that point. LOL just joking around.I don't see why you're so bummed about him using high joule settings, I really don't. I like being at 30w-40 watts/joules on a kayfun just as well as on a much airier Subtank or Lemo 2, because I like a lot of surface area and that means more coil and that takes more power to get where I want it quickly after I start drawing. Like you said, sweet spots.
And this ain't Kanthal, where power settings are everything. With a TC mod, Yihi or Evolv, power settings pretty much just dictate how fast it comes up to temp. Which may not mean much to the 0.065 zealots out there with just a few wraps that don't need much power to heat, but for those of us that prefer more wraps and higher ohms (and attys that can move between Evolv and Yihi devices without rebuilding), mo' powa is where it's at.
And I envy you guys that can go a week or more on a coil, I'm replacing mine daily/every 15ml or so because I can taste it getting worse, and it's less hassle and more consistent to just build a new coil and wick than it is to try and clean and re-wick an old, brittle coil and hope for the best.
I use 50/50 and the flavor I use is only 2% also 2.5mg nicJust out of curiosity, what kind of juice are you using? PG/VG ratio, flavor, etc?
Cool IDK if this is their answer to the problem of the finish or not. It seems to be holding up well in the 10 days that I have had it so does the grey which is older. But those carbon fiber J wraps are pretty cool too.Finish shouldn't matter, the J-wraps will adhere just fine. That 3M adhesive is good stuff.
Has anyone gotten one from Jwraps are they 2 piece or a single piece.
Did that- they aren't lifting those are just shadows from the flash... trimmed the frame- View attachment 456339 - much better.Take a hair dryer to that skin, heat it a bit and those lifting edges will smooth right out.

i can only get them to work well on dna40. all over the place on sx but others hava had some success i think. Not so pronounced in mini but crazy in nano. Anyway, give it a go!Heres something I was wondering. I bought a box of the NI200 heads for the STM but I didn't like them in my rDNA40 but I've been hearing they work well on the SX. Since they are .15 what temp and J settings are you using with them. Thought I might give one a try just to see.
