Just done my upgrade as everyone seems happy with it this time

If not for your post would still be trying

Changed downloaded .man file to .rar & then extracted ok as 114kb

The bit that was concerning me until changed to rar & extracted was original files were 113kb

The .man file was 58kb :-x

All done now anyway :toast:

Quantum,

When I download the update with I.E. it came down a a *.man file also. When I re-downloaded it with Chrome it came down as a *.RAR file. I have never had this happen before. Very strange.

Anyway I took one that came down as a man file renamed it RAR download one with Chrome as a RAR file compare the 32 bit CRC checksums in both and they are identical.

I have absolutely no explanation why this happens.

I am happy with the size and the weight. Love it but still want to put a sleeve on em just for further protection the Jwraps don't give although I really like the look of them. Thing I will get the Silver one next put a Silver carbon fiber J wrap and sleeve. Want to see for sure what the final product (sleeve) from YiHi looks like. I just think the sleeve while kind of ruining the look of it with the Jwrap should protect it better from drops which I very rarely do. I take really careful care of my mods.

Weird annit

When I downloaded the original updates 120w/150w they both downloaded with IE [I think] they were .rar files

This time definitely with IE they were .man files

Maybe I was using Firefox that day with the first updates .... am not sure

Certainly had me confused

I have absolutely no justification save "Old dogs... New tricks". I know it is a pretty weak argument. However since that event and a couple of other strange things that I.E started doing I have switched to Chrome exclusively.

Like that old Mule sometimes it takes a 2 X 4 to get my attention.

I downloaded the files on my MBP, copied to a flash drive, inserted on the XP box, finding one wrong. Tried to grab the correct file through IE and received a host of malware warnings.

Back to the MBP to download and transfer sans problems. IE is amazing for its utter lack of security.

I love Chrome, I do a lot of purchasing from foreign sites and browse some foreign vape forums, Google Translate takes it and spits it all out into English for me automatically...so awesome.

Quantum,

I had forgotten that I too had downloaded them earlier and I swear I thought it all worked and came down as RAR also. At that time I only used I.E. but my Norton Security ran out and when I installed the new version and used it to connect to my Norton account it called up Chrome even though I.E was set as the default browser. Then because I was switching from Norton Internet Security to the new Norton Security I had the Norton Tech Folks log on and do the switch over form me. (it is a long story why I had to have the Norton Tech do it) Anyway when he was on my machine he used Chrome exclusively. You really don't have to use a 2 X 4 on me but sometimes you do have to capture my attention via whatever method works.

Quick answer to the long story. The automatic update gave me the old version NIS for $85 then I noticed that had I purchased the new NS it would only cost $49 dollars and it was good for 5 installs two more than what I had. So I called and complained and they asked if they could log on and un-snake the mess and give me the latest and greatest while refunding my card the difference in price. By that time I would have let almost anyone do it. That said I did get a little nervous while chatting with the Technician doing the work had a Russian name. "Danger young Will Robinson"

If they pass the law in WA state Monday after Oct 1 it will be $320 for an SX.

Legs, that is the most depressing post I have ever read bar none.

PS - Legs, please let us know what happens Monday. Boy I wish I could express how really down this news has put me.

From Washington to Arizona boy is that going to be a cultural shock not to mention climatic shock. I am surprised WA. is a fairly liberal state.
With respect to vaping, I seem to notice locally that the liberals in Arizona (both of them:)) are the guys who are anti-vaping. I don't know why. Usually it's the conservatives who here who are against anything enjoyable. Maybe it's the same in Washington?

Oh that's bad !

Hope this sort of taxing will not be applied in other states as am due to move to Texas end of next year

Since the plans have been in place for a transfer to Houston there has been earth quakes & floods

This I can handle

But exploitation on vaping

Next they will pass a law that you have to wear pink underwear when vaping in AZ.
