LOL. Well most of what eFest sells is fake ;) But i think it's new and real.
Specs say 0.5x6, 1.0x4, and 2.0x2. Plus it also charges NiMH so can throw away my AA mouse charger.
Not sure if it has USB out (?) nice feature but don't get too many blackouts here ;)

Just got my sx mini, came a day early. I through a battery in and took the subtank off my vt-60. When in powe mode, it recognizes the coil as .15ohm and will fire. I put it in joules mode and it says .06ohm and won't fire. Joules set everywhere from 10 to 50 temp set at 400f.

ETA: this is with the ni200 occ coil.

Did you press the up/dwn buttons together to calibrate for the coil resistance?

PS - the cal must be done in Joules mode.

Of course not. That would have required me to read the manual and not just look at the pictures.

Note to self: RTFM!

Thanks. I'm an idiot.

That would be even funnier if I hadn't been there a couple of times myself. Also when I first got my SX I had made a bunch of mental notes to myself not to fall into that trap from reading other post. Guess what... I did the same thing you did.

I think you figured it out, but remember that locking the resistance immediately after firing will give an erroneous number. The coil and device must close to ambient temp.

Cool down, then lock.

Wow, pretty interesting.

Except.. I really don't need Bluetooth alerts on when charging finishes. And I don't think I need 6 bays, especially as this would be my second and I already have 4 bays, so another 4 max will be fine.

What I really want is it to give me more features on the batteries - like showing their internal resistance, their max mah. Can it do that? I guess not on the device, looking at the photo, but maybe through bluetooth?

I just went to their site and they have the banner for that product but it's not on their main product pages, and I couldn't even find the pic you posted, let alone any more info.

I found a couple of vaping sites with a little more info, eg Efest LUC Blu6 Charger

Doesn't sound like it supports any extra features.

Anyway, thanks for the link! Great to know it's coming.

I have a BTC1000 (step up from the BTC700). The BTC3400 is what you're looking for if you want one for LiIon.

Ahh thanks! That's great, it means I'm not going (completely) mad. I couldn't understand how I was sure that BTC700 was a usable charger. Of course, it's because I earlier was looking at the BT C3100 which is an analyzing charger and does Li and Nimh.. then when I went back to Lygate to find it I picked the wrong one :)

So yeah this is the one I thought I'd like to get - Review of Charger Opus BT-C3100 V2.1

I hadn't heard of the BTC 3400 you mentioned, but having just Googled it, it seems that the BTC 3400 is the same as the BT-C3100 v2.1. Ie they updated the BT-C3100 with a couple of FW updates, 2.1 being the latest, then they re-released the latest of that under a new name - presumably to avoid some bad publicity attached to the name 3100 (apparently the older FW issues could over-heat the PSU and had some other issues.)

Right, glad I understand all that now :) So yeah, either BT-C3100 v2.1 or BT-C3400 seems like my 'ideal' charger. It can do 4x1A which is good enough for me. Though it does say it can't do 2A into 18650, not sure why that is - it can do it for 26650.

I never quite understand why if a charger can do 2A, it says it can only do it for 26650 and not 18650? If the battery supports it, and the charger can send it, why can it only send it to certain batteries? I've seen that a couple of times on the Lygate reviews - 2A but only into 26650, max 1A into 18650.

Anyway I'm not going to get a new charger just yet. But that's probably what I'll think about if/when I do.

Do yoou guys think this could work to prevent the current SX Mini silicone cases to creep up?

I don't know about that but someone posted that the tape strips used by bald guys to hold down their "rugs" work well and while laughing I ordered some. From my experience that works extremely well. On the SXM I just rolled back the silicone as he suggested, applied the double sided tape and rolled the silicone back over it. It's been working perfectly since.

I just bought a pack of Scotch restickable Mini tabs from Target. I would call them slip resistant and not slip proof. The reason I went with those is I bought two different cases so switching is easy and they won't damage the paint. I put them on both sides about 1/2" above the SX logo. So far so good.

Hi Guys,

Just got my mini m few days ago. I just can't get the temp control to work.. Please hightlight any steps that i did wrong.

Lemo 2 with 28g- 11-12 round of NI200 coil (spaced coil).
Lock the resistance (0.16 - 0.22ohm) depends on 11 or 12 wrap or coil.
Test temp control with cotton(no juice) result pass...
Fill up tank and vape at 20J.. No problem.
Pump up the watt to 50J and i get dry hit.
Temp limit set at 410F

Help me please.
