I wonder if this stuff has to break in a little? It seems better at 440 but I'm not getting the flavor and this is my favorite flavor.Well I swapped coils about 4 times and decided I had vapers tongue now I got a 5 wrap 26awg 3mm at .26ohms. vaping in Ti mode really unstable temp but a good vape at 465 20J. Like I say temp is really unstable but it works well. Sure will be glad when they come out with a better firmware. I was going to go back to nickel cause I couldn't taste the flavor as good. Then I figured out I been hittin it so much I couldn't tasted it. Now it tastes good. I really like this Vape Mesh Ti. Haven't tried the Unkamen yet.

Well, I finally built my first working Ti coil using 26 gauge from Unkamen. I have a Mac, so I haven't updated it to the test version. I built the coil for my Gem, so it's only .18 ohms. Pretty good flavor at 15J at 220 F, though I suspect I'll play with it yet. No problem with stability.

It all varies depending on your build. Somedays I go through 3-4 batteries like on the weekend, and other days only 2. But my batteries are a bit tired and my builds more often these days are dual Ti coils built to low ohms which do suck up the power.

I consider myself a heavy hitter. I go through no less than 2 a day. A max of 3. That's using dual 26 gauge kanthal chiming in at 0.5. Temp control is pretty close to the same so far.

Only hit mine in after Work in Evenings then next morning until leave for work. Battery (25R) lasts for a couple days and I do hit it often at those times of day.
No issues for me anyways regarding Battery life.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Anyone think waiting for the dual battery Vaporflask with the SX350j or getting a cheap dual 18650 box mod is worth it? Larger footprint though. I'd consider the Boxer if it wasn't such a weird shape.

It fits in the hand very nicely. The only issue with the shape is that it isn't the most pocketable of designs. Otherwise, I'm confident that the Vaporflash 350j will retail for at least $300. That's quite a bit more than the Boxer DIY kit. The Whiteout SX retails for $200, but I don't know if Cloudmaker has shipped anything yet.

Posted by @Onedesign1 earlier, no idea on the price point but surely the kit will offer some savings.

IF,,, I decide I want (cause let's face it, we rarely have a real "Need" for another Mod) a dual 18650 TC Mod, it WILL be the Vapor Flask w/350j Board. No doubts-No Brainer (IMO).
Sure $300 is pricey but for the exemplary Design, inarguable Quality of Materials and Production, and overall Reputation of VF it IS worth it. Besides, it will last and continue to satisfy for a long long time.
As for Size & Shape, I believe it to be more apt for carry than most dual 18650 Box Mod. It is after all "Flask" shaped. That Shape was designed many many years ago (for Booze) to be carried in One's pocket and is quite proven to do so aptly. Rear Pants or inside Vest/Coat pocket or whatever pocket
Given that, it is absolutely a great CCM (Concealed Carry Mod).
Wonder if ya need a Permit to do so legally

Nice. The EK is humming along quite nicely at 20J and 294* in Ni200 Profile (26ga 0.22 ohm).
Kick 'er up around there and see if the Gem (although inferior to the EK ;)) purrs any better for ya.

I disagree, I think the flask is one of the most pocketable dual 18650 mods I've used. The curve of the flask hugs your leg in a pants pocket.

Now to compare,,,, Switch over to the Ni200 Profile, Re-Cal & Lock Resistance, set J to 18-20 and Temp to @295* F.
Then take the same Atty, Build, and Juice for a Spin.
Let us know what you think then and how the 2 Experiences compare.

Gonna have to get a couple of those HG2's....

Wow you are right HC. Much better vape and flavor. Really Really good. Don't think I will wait for the next Ti firmware this works great. YiHi will probably just give me an answer like they did the guy whos second mod started chipping and the said why don't you just take a $1 sleeve and be happy. Like take an old cold tater and wait.

OK I will let it cool for a little while and do that. Yeah I am pretty impressed with the HG2 for $7.99. Plus if you order 2 from RTD you get a case for them also.

RTD? Not familiar with the Acronym. Let me know so I can order a couple please.

Good Deal! Glad you like it. The Ti tasted a bit "different" at first. But, that's just the lack of the Kanthal Twang. The Flavors POP using Ti now. Much more "as Intended" IMO. Did it Rattlesnake running in Ni200 Profile or is that gone too? Betcha it did and sounds like a finely tuned Injector Jet misting (with an initial light Snap at the first after it sits and cools for awhile which goes away after a few hits).
