I got mine from vaporkings also and I ordered on thanksgiving and it arrived today on a Sunday which REALLY suprised me. vape Mail on a Sunday that doesn't happen unless it's Christmas time. Updating it was a lot of fun but now that it's all good I'm happy with it. Gonna have to compare between this and my dna200's to see what one I like more but so far I love the feel and look of it. And it's powering my dual titanium claptons in my crius so it's off to a good start.

Ordered mine from Breazy at a slightly higher price (vaporkings were out of stock by the time I got to them). Still on its way in the mail. By all means keep us posted on how it compares to the DNA2000. I was torn between the two for a while until I saw the 2.32 update.

www.VaporNW.com is having a 40% off Black Friday sale on the SX Mini M and ML. I just bought a SX Mini ML for $127.36. They are a authorized vendor and will cover YIHI's warranty.

Did you mean vapenw.com? On the other site I did not see any yihi products.

It's only been a little while with it but I am liking it but I think I still like the dna200 better. The only thing that I notice is the slight pulsing when you have a coil that needs some power. Like I said early I got dual titanium claptons in my crius and it gives a great vape but it's just a little choppy feeling. I still love the device and especially the form factor and simplicity of it. It will be my driver mod for a while to see how I like it with some time under its belt. I'm excited to try some SS coils in TC to see how it compares with the DNA200. Very happy I purchased it for 99$ it was well worth the money. I'll keep you updated on how this upcoming week goes with it.

The pulsing is usually because you're giving it too much power. Try lowering joules until you can hear a smooth (or smoother) operation after a second or two of firing, then use the Powerful/Powerful+ settings if you want quicker ramp up.

Keep in mind the SX-350J series doesn't work like the DNA series...with a DNA, you set your max wattage, and it uses that as a limit but will reduce power to keep below your set temperature, and it's not unusual to NEVER see a DNA40/200 hit your max power setting.

With an SX-350J, it ALWAYS gives you your max power setting, ask it for 75J it gives you 75j, and then it pulses that power to keep you in your temp range. If you have your power set too high, the time between pulses will increase. Think about it like a gas pedal on a car...if you have your power set too high, it's like flooring it and then coasting to stay in the speed limit, flooring it and coasting, flooring it and coasting. Or using cruise control on a manual transmission car and being in 2nd gear, very choppy as the car struggles to stay at your set speed, much less smooth than if you were in top gear.

The DNA200, on the other hand, is more like a car that won't allow you to exceed your set speed limit, so no matter how hard you press on the gas pedal, it won't let you give it more throttle than it thinks it needs. Which is why you see so many people running temps in excess of 500F, to force the DNA to give them the power they need for the vape they want.

@Croak that was an excellent explanation! It is all too common to see folks set the temp to the max and rely on TC to moderate the temperature which is the way of many mods. I always frown when I even see Phil Busardo do the same thing with the SXM in his reviews. But like you said, the SXM is a different animal and needs to be understood to best use the device. :thumb:

Another vendor selling M Class for $99.99 for Cyber Monday sale. They have 4 colors including the black/black. I can't vouch for this vendor, but after seeing this I had to post it for anyone interested.

SX Mini M Class by YiHi

Looks like they have 9 B & M locations located mostly in the MD, US area.

Never heard of them... else I probably would pick one up for my stocking stuffer. :) Was going to get one from Vapor Kings the other day since they're local but I procrastinated and they went out of stock. Right now think I'll sit until the SX350j-V2 boards are available and just replace the board in the M's. Itching to see the signal of the ML.

Yes, I know it is tempting. I just bought a Reuleaux DNA200 mod for $118.99 so I can play around with a new toy, but I was also wondering if an SX350J-V2 board would fit in an SXM. Do you know if it would fit?

Seems I've read they have the same dimensional board layout. But I wouldn't say for positive they would fit until doing further research.

Edit: From a post on Varitube section from Onedesign1

"just swap the chip. I believe the base board to be the same because the sample ML I have has the M chip in it"

Perry at Varitube said they fit right in if you want to upgrade.

I hope it works good for you. I have heard a couple of cons on it. 1.Wires from batteries are a small gauge so you have more battery sag when requiring higher power. 2. Several people have had their DNA boards just quit and they have kind of a short warranty so if it does EVOLV will replace but you have to take the board out and replace it yourself. If it is Chinese made and you are still on warranty you have to send it to China and turn around can be over a month. I almost got one too but I'm not electricly inclined so I didn't want to mess with it.

That was one reason I went for the M class. If I had more cash on me I would've pulled the trigger on Varitube's Renegade X (a dual 18650 SX 350 J box mod) to have more battery time and wattage.

Thanks croak for the explanation. And I've had other yihi chips and I get what your saying I just put the joules to about the minimum they need to be to reach the temp I have set which is only 420. With the DNA200 I basically do the same just with a tiny bit more power. The sxmm is doing pretty well compared to the DNA but I do like the smoothness of the flat signal better. It's nice though having a small mod that's built well to carry around. The reuleaux does weigh down my shirt pocket lol.

So my M-class its unable to be used with two different authentic Mark Bugs Gem RTA's. This is rather unfortunate considering the price I paid for these. The issue is when I screw them down into the 510 they get about half way screwed down and pop right out. It's as though the 510 on the GEM is to small or the 510 on the Gem is too large. I did some searching and have found others indicating a small percentage of the M-class have too large of a 510 and do not work with many 510's. I have contacted the Vendor that sold the device and they are not responding. I sent an email to Yihi today however I don't have high expectations as most others said Yihi indicates they need to contact the vendors that sold them it. Also, I have tested these same GEM's on over 6 other mods and they have no issues making a tight fit with the 510. Hopefully Yihi has some type of solution.
