TC Joules using Ti at 16J 430F. Shouldn't make any difference what you have it set for. Joules are Joules and if you use them faster or slower shouldn't matter IMO.Eco mode
after the last update for TCR, could anyone tell me what number should I use with SS, I found the .00092, .00088, .00105 and others, I tried all of them with the crown tank and with my own build on crius RTA with UD 316 24g wire, both of them with all the different numbers. the answer is one (Dry Coil, No liquid)
Crown doesnt have purely SS wire in their coils, its kanthal leader wire - then ss in the middle - then kanthal leader wire, so ymmv with tc on them.
For 316L wire i use 0.00092 and have a great vape at that setting on my TreeBox.
Are you holding the + - buttons after you have put the tank on to get the resistance read properly for the new coil?
thanks, tried to do that with my RTA and it cutting the power immediately with the same message same as with the crown, that is why I started wondering.
now I see, I think main have some issue, because just on the last hour it wouldn’t fire any atomizer I have it just keep saying check atomizer. sh*t I think I am in trouble.
I had the same problem with UD's SS 316L, dry coil message over and over again. Did a water test and 0.00121 was the right value for my SX Mini M. Give it a try.
Edit: I don't use tanks, Cthulhu V2, Crius, Aromamizer and Mutation RTA mostly.
Now that is a great peace of info. The only thing now is that the flask isn't firing is not reading any atomizer at all, I sent an email to vape forward and just waiting now
Sorry to hear that. I want a sx flask I'm thinking of trading a DNA 200 plus some loot for one. I love the feel of the flask it's the best shape imo. I may wait for the DNA 133 flask. I know this might sound stupid but did you try a reboot then after setting your TCR locking in the resistance and compensate temp.
it is not stupid, I tried that I even redid the hole update again, now it wont read anythin not only SS, every toper I have wont work just keeps saying check atomaizer. for the time being I am waiting on Vape Forward replay to my email.

Picked up the SX Mini from the post office about 20 minutes ago
Checked the firmware version, and found earlier one than latest with TCR adjustment etc
Installed the SXi driver
Ran the SXi software
Upgraded the firmware to M Class 75W_English_V2.32 TCR&OFFSET 20151010
Whacked on the Lemo 2 (with SS coil)
Pressed +-
Set Resistance
Set Temp Compensation to 0 c (Temp Compensation follows resistance setting on new firmware)
Fumbled my way through the menus to set 410f and TCR to 0.00092
Set Joules to 20
Pressed button
Inhaled vapor
In my happy place
Probably need to tweak a bit further to get spot on but very close to my TreeBox vape
Now i just need to figure out all the memory slots and joules a bit better

Besides its hot outside, where i vape, much much warmer than my room
Seems to vape just fine with 0
Im confused, every tc device ive had up till now got you to lock resistance at room temp, so im not sure why theres even that addtional setting on the SX

Because before this last update, the SX assumed that it was always 20c by default. Since it has no components to measure external temperature, giving the end user the ability in update 2.32 to adjust for actual temperature gives you more accuracy.Who in the heck knows their room temperature

Best bet if you don't know what the temp is within a degree or three, is to leave it at the default 20c. Setting it to zero Celsius when it's 20c in your room means you'll be off by that much, if not more. That's a significant inaccuracy..your 410f setting is closer to 460f in reality, for instance, and with the low TCR of stainless, you're already riding the bleeding edge of the mod's ability to control temps. You're in cotton burn territory (depending on juice PG/VG ratio).
