Technonaut had a post a few pages back about a smok ni200 coil but I wanna say that was for the gimlet?
I think
I did order a lemo2 also, should be here tomorrow or Friday.

Yes I believe he did say the NI200 coils were for the gimlet but I don't think the coils are compatible with the VCT-Pro.

awesome!!! wanted a good single coil rta to run in temp mode. and im really not a huge fan of m kf4, almost everything I have are dual coil attys though.
I just got a silerplay today, grabbed it out of the classis and im totally impressed vapor wiae, but I had to add flavor to my juice because it was so muted

Oh wow. Yea Lemo 2 has been excellent with flavor for me.

I agree with you but I have found it is a smart idea after opening the air flow to hold a tissue against one of the air slots and tip it horizontal and let the tissue catch any juice that has gotten into the air chamber. Once you do that it is good to go and no further leakage.

:2c:

Interesting. I haven't had it leak at all with the method I said and I filled it up almost 4 times yesterday lol.

I have a question about the "dry burn" warning, as I've never really saw it except for when my Lemo wasn't attached tight enough.

I have my build at 0.143, 28ga on 3mm, spaced, running 11.5J at 355F. I got to a point where my juice was out, but still had battery. I didn't get a dry burn warning, and it was definitely getting a "dry burn" taste, pretty nasty. Any reason?

I tried doing it originally when I first got my mod, just putting cotton in. I set the temp a bit high at 510F or something, instead of dry coil it just incinerated my cotton lol. Is it normal? Why don't I ever get a dry coil warning?

Flavor is great though, as long as there's juice in the tank.

If you had good spacing it may be due to a poor connection. I have never had that experience yet and have seen the dry coil warnings when my juice is out. Never a burnt taste yet.

How could it be the connection? It fires fine, tastes fine, good vapor, not hot etc. What would indicate a poor connection? The temp control also working, at least on the screen, ramps up to 355F and hangs there while holding.

Edit: Is there any way to test if the feature is working correctly? Just set to 410F and dry burn with cotton threaded in the coil? I haven't played much cause I wanted to vape ASAP and don't want to heat the coil before setting ohm reading.

Ni200, is notoriously figity, of the connection is there but not firm or settled enough, it can act wonky.
It's typically the easiest thing to check.

The best thing we learn with the dna40 with ni200 I patience, of which my red Italian blood has always lacked.
But of when you hit the up and down buttons to pair the mod and atty, they are not both cool and not used it wont work right nor will it be accurate.

As n if you dry burn the coil to check its heating evenly you have to let them cool before you pair.

Of the connection is sound I would let it sit for 15-20 minutes then pair of again.

Yea, I have definitely waited when I set resistance. Cleaned the mod, wire and juice, and set temp (no test fire). Set every 5 minutes to check if it was stable and not decreasing over about 15 minutes. I guess I will be more mindful of the connection, it definitely was tight but maybe something loose somehow.

Maybe I'll try the dry burn with cotton for fun -- after I finish the tank and make a replacement coil for it. I tried cleaning at last refill, but even though it cleaned up pretty well with a dental "gum" brush, it doesn't taste as good. I suppose I will make a new coil every time I feel the flavor getting muted, unless lazy haha.

Some attys you will wanna wrap the legs around the screws to ensure a good connection.
I know that was the case in the kf4.

I just spent 30 or so minutes playing around with my Derringer dripper before coming to that conclusion. Ended up doing a single/spaced 28g coil wrap, around the screws instead of through the holes, that ohm'd out at .06. Wanted to try that since the manual listed it as the suggested resistance.

Seems to be vaping all right, although i had to turn it up to 500J before it felt hot enough for me.

Make sure all the connections are sound on the Lemo... Leads wrapped around the screws, screws secured. Also make sure the positive post is tight (this is the post with the airflow control ring on it). Mine came pretty loose from the factory. I also take that post all the way out, then remove the white plastic disc inside the base, flip it over, re-install and tighten the post down again. This will create a better / more solid connection between the bottom 510 section and the upper deck section. PM me if you need me to clarify this any further, I've got some pics laying around somewhere I can probably dig up.

I use Lemos exclusively on the SX Mini; I have three originals and three Lemo 2s. It's a fantastic atty and a great performer, especially for temp control/ni200 builds.

Re-did my coil and did what you suggested. Seem to have it dialed in now with what the resistance should look like. Thanks.

Was tempted to buy the Lemo 2 when i got the SX Mini, but i barely have any mileage on the Lemo Drop (Lemo 2 was announced the day after i finally pulled the trigger on it) to justify going out and buying yet another tank so soon lol.

Still seeing some complain that even with the rounded edges it digs into the palm of their hand. This would definitely solve that problem as well as give us a lot more usage time. :)

I dont get this dgging in thing. What the hell are people doing with it???

Yea I don't get it either. I have good sized hands medium to large and this thing has pretty much been in the palm of my hand since I received it. I've had no problem. Only thing I can figure is they are gripping it excessively tight and I'm not.

Edit:
But I would like to see a dual battery option add on more similar looking to the photo shop pic than the tube "battle axe"

So i have had my m class for a week now and it has been perfect. A full week of no dry hits or any issues with my lemo drop and ST mini multiple refills/ni200 coil builds and rewicking cleaning coils and it has been a dream. I haven't even picked up my other vv mods in a week, my sig mini30 has become a battery charger im enjoying the M Class so much! So i am looking now how to protect my m class so i dont have to go a day without it. My question is how "water resistent" do ya all think this device is. The weak spots for h2o seem to be the usb port and the holes in the bottom where the battery is. My worry is if i use this mod in a light rain and a fat rain drop falls into that usb hole it may not be good. Or my other concern is if i set it down on the table and some condensation from a beer is on the table and h2o gets into the battery cap will it short the device? Any idea on how to protect the m class a silcone sleave that just goes on the bottom cover up the usb would be perfect. I would just hate to ruin this thing by accidently setting it down in the wrong place or have a rouge rain drop ruin my day!

As rugged as this thing is built I wouldn't worry about small amounts of moisture. Even if you sat it down on a table with a bit of water on it, the recess of the battery cap would only allow for the negative post to get wet if at all. Also you don't really want to cover those up as they're needed for ventilation should you have a battery fail. As for the USB you could just keep the palm of your hand over it if your vaping in the rain. :) Or purchase a dust cap like these. 2-piece Universal 3.5mm & Micro USB Plug Cap, Black - Newegg.com I read earlier in the thread there may be a silicone sleeve in the works but I haven't seen anything on the market.

My Cherokee name is "little hands" and I've had zero issues at all. I actually find it way more comfortable than my Hana and vaporshark DNA.

I kind of like the battleaxe but I could see the option being beneficial for most. I just hit my adv at 30-40 and drip at high wattages for fun. So I'm digging it as an option only.
