So i have a question for you guys. Been using my M Class for weeks no dry hits whatsoever until today. I got the Lemo 2 in and have a .29 ohm build, 30awg Ni200, vaping at 25J @ 400 degree and have just experienced a slightly burnt hit. Have no idea whats going on. The device doesn't give a real time display of the current temp while hitting it so I'm not sure if the temp protection is in fact working...any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Just got the m class and loving it. I'm having a issue though with the Kanger occ ni200 coils. On my rdna it reads the coil usually around 0.22 and I usually run it 420 and 28 watts. On the sxmini it hits much weaker and less warm even at settings such as 500 and 50 joules. What's going on here? Everything I've read says that the sx is more warm then the rdna.

I had the exact opposite happen. The Ni200 coil's went working great on either device so I scrapped the coil heads. Built on the RBA and the SX vapes much warmer and fuller vape than the DNA at a lower setting

I am using the Lemo 2 with with a 3mm 28g .17ohm build at 27-30J and 400F. .29ohm is pretty high I try to stay between .12-.20ohms. I have not had one dry hit at all. Make sure your wicking is good as well.

did you pair the mod to the atty? ie hold up down button until it said what your resistance was
when you paired the mod to the atty were both cool or was the mod firing shortly before?
also what setting is the mod in? soft, standard, powerful or powerful+

Yes I paired it when they both were cool and I tried all the settings. Produces much less vapor and warmth. Also it reads the coil as.0.12 when the rdna says 0.22.

wicking is good. all i have is 30 awg. what would you recommend I shoot for with this gauge wire?

When I use 30 AWG I twist it and then do 6/7 spaced wraps. It comes out around 0.12 with short legs in a Kayfun v4. Been building it this way for a week and it's working fine for me.

I don't own a sx so you may ignore my comment

7 wraps of 28g should be under 0.10 or even lower depending on id so I would double check your build, connections and maybe try to reset the base resistance. 0.21 sounds high.

On my other technology mod, 10 wraps of 28g ni on a 2.4mm mandrel give around 0.11.

Tony

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

Yeah, from the limited prior experience i have using nickel i spent the few hours of work thinking something had to be off with that #. After not using it for an hour or so, i turned temp down to 350 and tried "resetting" *or whatever you call holding both buttons in) it again and it came out .13. Been vaping that ever since and it seems to be working just fine.

If it's not my build (could be, plan on trying a few different builds when i get home. never tried a dual coil with nickel) maybe it's an issue with my Lemo Drop? Hear they can be finicky.

So..... Samsung has just introduced a new battery to the market. 3000mAh which is a nice 20% bump over the existing 2500mAh (we can all use that extra run time).

But, and I KNOW it is against yihi's recommendation, can we squeeze by with a continuous 15A battery??? Specs have not been release yet of the Pulse.

honestly it sounds like either when youre going from one mod to other if the ni200 is warm it wont work right. and you wont get an accurate reading or starting point.
-or- there is a connection problem between the build deck and he nickel.

quite honestly this is the first time ive heard anyone say the dna40 is cooler than the sx
that or you're in soft mode on the sx.

Make sure all the connections are sound on the Lemo... Leads wrapped around the screws, screws secured. Also make sure the positive post is tight (this is the post with the airflow control ring on it). Mine came pretty loose from the factory. I also take that post all the way out, then remove the white plastic disc inside the base, flip it over, re-install and tighten the post down again. This will create a better / more solid connection between the bottom 510 section and the upper deck section. PM me if you need me to clarify this any further, I've got some pics laying around somewhere I can probably dig up.

I use Lemos exclusively on the SX Mini; I have three originals and three Lemo 2s. It's a fantastic atty and a great performer, especially for temp control/ni200 builds.

I wouldn't attempt it or advise anyone else attempt it either.

I wouldn't. Using ni200 puts you at a really low subohm. I only use VTC4s.
