After not using it for an hour or so, i turned temp down to 350 and tried "resetting" *or whatever you call holding both buttons in) it again and it came out .

Which mode are you in when you "hold[ing] both buttons in"? Power or Joule?

Should be Power. Check the Manual...CORRECTION Joule mode is fine...per the Manual.

I wouldn't attempt it or advise anyone else attempt it either.

I wouldn't. Using ni200 puts you at a really low subohm. I only use VTC4s.

Thanks. Thats what I figured too. Guess will just wait for the INR18650-30R another couple of months.

Found this one too...... but just no way it can be real. I'm sure its just a re-wrap with false info. :(

I wouldn't use that battery either. That said I'll use other 18650s besides VTC4s. While your point about being subohm is true, its not like we are putting 4.0v to our ni200 coils.

Take .07 as example, close to the "recommended" resistance, even at 50W, its only pulling almost 28 amps. Which any of the good 2500mah 35A pulse batteries can easily do.

I was doing it in Joule mode for the first one for sure. Read the manual, but don't recall it actually specifying on that to be honest (don't have it here)

I stick with 25Rs HE4s and vtc4s only for everything. I know those, I trust them and they've been pretty well tested in vaping. The battery is the most important part not to cut corners on.
With a 200$ mod, and pushing high wattage, I figure saving 5$ on a battery or using a battery marketed to the one community is probably a bad idea.
In my head, when I see something marketed especially for vaping by an unknown source my first thought is someone dumpster diving for cells to rewrap and cash in.

Jazz,

I am looking at the manual and I can't find the instructions that you are referring to. Can you tell me where in the manual you are getting that it has to be in power mode from.

Oops we must have posted simultaneously. Bet we couldn't do that twice in a row. ;)

George

I jumped through the video (it was boring, sorry) and got the part he burned that cotton to ashes. I didn't get though if it was because he forgot to set the base resistance or was using a full contact coil?

Regards
Tony

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

I agree with you tchavei. I think it was a full contact coil and TC just doesn't work with that very well. It was also such a massive coil with 26 ga which is just too thick.

I hear you but I just prefer to use VTC4 over anything else on the market. Better safe then sorry. It also allows me to use more than just an ni200 build on the go if I wanted to. Sometimes I carry around my Mutation X V3 with a .20ohm or less parallel kanthal coil in it.

Just got the m class and loving it. I'm having a issue though with the Kanger occ ni200 coils. On my rdna it reads the coil usually around 0.22 and I usually run it 420 and 28 watts. On the sxmini it hits much weaker and less warm even at settings such as 500 and 50 joules. What's going on here? Everything I've read says that the sx is more warm then the rdna.

I just put on my 2nd Kanger OCC NI200 coil. The first one I used for about 8 days of heavy vaping. The new coil is showing .133 ohms, the first one was about .125. I notice a vast improvement with taste with the new coil. .22 is just way too high for that coil and I am running at 28J with 415 degrees using a max VG juice.

I have been looking at the Lemo 2 and/or the Smok VCT-Pro if I can get NI200 coils for it. Does anyone know if they are available for it yet?

I sent an email to Smok about Smok VCT-Pro NI200 coils, they replied that they will announce the release soon.

Lemo 2 is awesome! Just make sure you close the airflow on the base when you fill the tank from the top. Also don't fill it all the way up, leave a little room (like 10%) to prevent leaking as soon as you reopen the airflow. It wont leak any other time.

awesome!!! wanted a good single coil rta to run in temp mode. and im really not a huge fan of m kf4, almost everything I have are dual coil attys though.
I just got a silerplay today, grabbed it out of the classis and im totally impressed vapor wiae, but I had to add flavor to my juice because it was so muted

I agree with you but I have found it is a smart idea after opening the air flow to hold a tissue against one of the air slots and tip it horizontal and let the tissue catch any juice that has gotten into the air chamber. Once you do that it is good to go and no further leakage.
