The guys that are using Ti are you using the type that has that flat grey finish and not shiny or what. I see stealth vapes carries it also.No I guess they don't.

Now that we have Titanium support, I bought some Titanium G1 wire from Unkamen on Etsy. Seems to be the popular place to buy it from what I've seen on ECF.

Another question some places sell their wire by mm What does it measure up to in gauge Like Sweet vapes has .4mm and .5mm. They say that .4mm is best for coils with TC and .5mm for drippers. Any thoughts. I'm stll deciding. The article by Stealth Vapes is kind of scary but if you have TC it shouldn't be a problem as long as you know what temp to run it at and not above. They also recommend spaced over contact. All of this is very confusing it is such a new thing. I am more then willing to give it a try if it is safe.

After using Temp control for the last month or so on a Vapor Flask clone with SXK chip and thoroughly enjoying it I have been looking for another mod with temp. protect. I almost ordered on IPv4 and another SXK Hana-like mod. Both together would be about half of the price of a SX mini. But today I got up & said to hell with it and ordered a SX M class which is what I wanted from the beginning. So my question is "are you guys happy with the SX for the most part? Probably should have asked this before I ordered

Yep, from day one. The user interface is not ideal, but you get used to it. Otherwise, no complaints.

Also, if you want dual 18650, there is the Boxer. Much more compact and nicer than the IPv4 in my opinion.

IMHO the SX is the one to get. You are able to get the latest and greatest firmware so you should be able to keep up without buying another mod. I love all 3 of mine and they are all I use sold my rDna40 my PV P3 One of my PV V2.5 I am still keeping a couple for emergencies if anything goes wrong I won't be without a vape. But I love them. I did double bag all of them before they got a chance for the finish to get bad.

ummm yea ok.... I must have missed that some

If I'm understanding you correctly, in your going into the sub menu and setting your power or joules then when exiting you default to M1 with whatever you set but lose that setting when changing batteries? I believe you will also lose that setting when hitting the up button or running through the different Mx locations.

If so that has not been fixed with this release and is a bug that was introduced with 2.1 if I recall correctly.

I'd suggest setting your output as follows to work around this.
Hit Up button to select Mx location you want to set
Hit Down button to Adj
Hit either Up button or Down button to adjust to your preference
Hit fire button when your done Adj

Bug is not fixed.

If you are in a preset higher than M1 (I.e. If you are in M2, M3, M4 or M5), go into the config menu, then exit, the display shows the wattage/joules of the preset you are on, but the memory location now says "M1". If it's retaining the power setting, it should also remember the pointer to the preset IMHO.

I've reached out to their customer service to alert them of this issue.

Yea that's what I was trying to state. Was pretty groggy when I posted so it may have not been clearly conveyed. :) And there was a partial sentence from a previous post that I never posted and didn't notice until you replied that I fixed. But yes the bug is still there. Actually all the bugs I'm aware of from 2.2 are still present as far as I can determine.

For me the SXm and the Kanger STM are the best things I have ever had, and believe me I have tried just about everything since 2008. I am finally getting the best vape ever. And it just keeps getting better. Oh I should add that the nickel was also one of the factors and being able to use it easily. Now I will check the Ti and with the SX all I have to buy is wire.

I had to go back to my Fogger v4.3 when I busted my STM, kinda funny as I remember how much I initially loved the Fogger's but now they're a pita to use and build on in comparison to the STM. I did receive my new base yesterday 2 slot and it works basically the same as the original 1 slot I had so I'm back in business now.

I'm just trying to figure out what the upgrade does exactly. Does it even out the temp like with nickel or do you still have to run it low. Does it give you more settings in the menu or do you have the same as nickel. It must do something right? It's too bad YiHi didn't see fit to explain it. And how about .4mm compared to 26gauge.

Would someone fax me some Ti wire please.

Add me to the list. I've went to a couple B&M's and called a few others, the one's I went to I got a blank stare of IDK what your talking about. The one's I called all had to check with someone else to see if they had it or not and none did. Guess I'll have to order some after the weekend so I can play with it.

I did a cotton singe test using the new Ti setting and it appears, on mine at least, to be similar to the Evic VT in that my cotton didn't singe until I had it set for 535°. I thought it seemed to be hitting a bit on the cool side when set to 420° and my results show this to be the case. I'm currently set to 480° and getting a great vape. Love to see someone else here duplicate my results.
