Rockin dual Ti coils on the Zephyrus. 26g Ti, 7 wraps, 2mm ID. Comes in at .14 Ohm, still playing with temps and Joules.

I use the charge port every day since I got my SXM over 2 months ago. I just use care and the port is like the day I got it. I do change out batteries every day also, but at work I just charge it if needed to give me some additional vape time when at work or even at night if my battery still has power. I do it just to top it off so I have a full charge in the morning.
Did the Ti Upgrade, changed to Joules mode, set at 30J and 290* F, loaded a single 28 GA 6 wrap coming in at .43, and synced the Atty Ohms. Fired and it gave me a Dry Coil Warning, so hit it with the Liquid.
All good right...
Hit the Button and it will hit for about 2 seconds, stops firing and gives me the Dry Coil Warning. Keeps on giving me that. The 5mm deep Well is near full so I know it ain't dry. What the heck am I doing wrong....?

OK - I thought my build was a POS. Now I will run it up and not be afraid of Arc Welding my lips.
Thought about that. Rewicked and she wasn't "tight" the first go round and is definitely not tight on the second with same results.

What does the upgrade do, does anyone who has installed it and tried it with their Ti coils see any difference. I'm still trying to find out what it does to give the SX support Ti wire.
Other thought would be that you have a connection problem. Even a thin film of e-juice residue can throw off TC. If you haven't cleaned your atomizer recently, I'd recommend an ultrasonic bath.
So in other words the temp is actually closer then trying to use it with NI settings. Now maybe if they would give us the resistance it is set for we would be right on. I guess what I'm saying is with NI200 I notice that with a .065 build I get a similar vape at 410 that I do with a .075 build at 390 since this is temperature guessing based on resistance it would make a difference to know what they used to set it up. Does that make sense to you??

Cleaned Atty well before the new Build with Isopropyl and let it dry good and wiped it down. Thanks again and I appreciate the help and bouncing possibilities. Doing entire new Build now just in case.... trying everything.

I don't remember if the email address to ask about this was. Was it fancy@yihisxmini.com that was who I talked to to get the beta of the previous upgrade. I don't think they celebrate the 4th there right.
I hear you and the place I was told to get the wire from is out of 26 till mid July.

This might sound stupid but could it be possible that .43 is too high of a resistance. I think the nickel had an upper limit of .3 didn't it. I can't remember. I don't have CSS I have CRS.
Just looked it up and in Joules mode it had a limit of .05-.3. Just a thought.
The coils that QM recommended to me were 26awg 3mm 5 wraps coming it at around .25 I believe. It is possible that they didn't change the resistance limits which would make .43 too high.
I know you are probably asleep now but what was your resistance.
The Evic VT has a resistance range for Ti of .2-.4 So if the SX is near the same that could be your problem. That is the only one with Ti support that I could find a resistance range.
