SXmini M Class (TEMP CONTROL)

I just did the new update to the SX350J board/chip which is in a dual battery box mod I built a few months ago and I had quite a scare. It stopped updating at 15% and would not start back. I thought I had "bricked" it for sure. I tried putting the batteries in it and nothing would work. TOMBSTONE DEAD !!!!!!!
It would not restart the update process, just stay at 15%.
I reinstalled the driver and it did a complete update then.
Put the two batteries back in and it works like a charm.
It had me sweating for a few minutes.

Reinstalling the driver must have wiped out the partial update that had it "bricked".

I think the usb cable I was using lost contact and caused the problem. I heard the computer make the sound you hear when connecting/disconnecting a device when the update process stopped at 15%.
Funny thing is that I was using the usb cable that came with my Hcigar dna 200 mod.
The Yihi board must have know this..........
and decided to have some fun with me.

I think everyone on here must be testing this out. The jury is still out as far as I'm concerned. I tried to go back to my Ni setting and try the Ti at 290F but no go wouldn't get above 225. So I am wondering what the deal is.

Has anyone tried NI200 to see if it still works right? Because you sure can't use Ti in Ni mode anymore.

Is the NI and TI setting a preset instead of using the manual feature? I set to NI and locked it in. I didn't see the compensate feature while doing that. Is that normal?

If you haven't found it already it's an adjustment you get when you Lock your resistance.

Can you roll back the firmware to the previous version. I don't get near as good a vape on the Ti mode even at 465F that I did in Ni mode at 285F and I can't seem to use that setting anymore either. My Ti in Ni mode won't seem to heat above 225F it tastes like the old 285F.

I'm wondering if it has to do with me not upgrading to the 75w firmware and only upgrading to the 60w firmware before the test first came out.When I first upgraded to the 2.2

IDK what you have going on 2legs.. maybe try setting it up like you did earlier? But yes you should be able to load any version you like.

Wow I reset the atty resistance at room temp and compensate temp to 22C which is close to the real room temp mod set to 415F 16J and getting a great vape. 425F with the CW I've noticed it takes a little hotter temp.

I don't recall if I ever used it in Ni200 mode with Ti. If I did it wasn't for very long so don't remember what I would have set it to. If I recall correctly everyone was saying about 100F lower but not sure.

Well Vlad I let them sit for 10min reset the resistance set the comp to 25 and they are vaping great at 410F 14J. Go figure.

It didn't bring that option up when I locked in the resistance.

Glad to hear it. That's why I re-posted your earlier post. Sometimes when your having a problem you just need to start from the beginning or at least from a known good starting point.

Are you sure your update was successful?
Take the battery out
Hold the fire button down
Reinsert the battery
Put on the cap
What version does it say?

It reads version 2.32. I had the resistance @0.087 and it just locked it in. Hit the fire button relocked it and the compensate feature appeared.

Did you use link to do the update? And did you reset the device after you did the update initialy?

Coil Select doesn't bring up the Temp Compensation adjustment. Only when you Lock the resistance will you see it.

I did that. If I use use coil select and leave it on NI the compensate mode doesn't appear.

I chose NI 200 exited the screen locked the resistance @ 0.087 and then it went into the main screen.
