Right behind you...
Question, once you get to the correct manual TCR are you supposed lock it in like you would the resistance or just hit the fire button to advance the menu ?
Thanks,

Just fire, it behaves just like watts or joules or temp settings, stored automatically.

I am not sure but I just hit the fire button and the 0.006 that I used stuck.

Has anyone tried a SXMM battery cap from elevated vape accessories? I just ordered one because I just spent 2 hours trying to get mine on my SXMM. With no avail. I finally just had to switch out caps between my M class & S class. Of which the one for my S class is a bit taller & not flush on SXMM but it does the job. First time I have had to do this. Anyway, Varitube caps are cheaper but are Yihi caps so I think it is a crap shoot if you are going to get a good one.

Just got my cap from Elevated Vape. It's light weight polished aluminum. It screws in with your fingers easily and actually is smoother in the threads than the original. Fits flush with the bottom of the mod. It seemed a little pricey when I ordered it but its a well done replacement and certainly makes battery changing much easier. I'd recommend it and I'm glad I got one.

I've found that most of the thread issues are because of a misaligned battery tube. If it's like mine was, you can see it as you look down into the edge of tube. I had a hell of a time trying to keep it from cross threading, and this is coming from a machinist by trade. I took a look with my magnifier hood and saw that where the tube threads met the body it was off center by about 1/32" on one side. Using my fingertip and a little bit of force I was able to center it, and have had no problems since. Just a QC problem in assembly.

I just updated my m class to the latest firmware and its now asking how much I want to compensate after sync my ni200 coil. It is defaulting to 50c. I thought I read this was for SS or TI however I could be wrong. I am a bit confused as to what I should be setting this to when using my standard ni200 spaced coils.

It "should" default to 20 C.

mine is defaulting to 25c. that is all I can get to. still cannot access the menu. it is ignoring gravity input. hmm.

I can also see that the tube is off center. mine will not budge though. I can see that is very possibly the problem indeed. anyone that can move theirs you should then have no trouble with the cap I imagine. it is nice to know it is a very simple fix. if it will move.

Weird!!!!

I had this happen a week ago, two days before the end of the warranty. Vendor said he'd honor the warranty but required I contact YiHi. They wanted to see a video. Took that and sent...

EMBARRASSING.

Turns out by some mysterious circumstance I had turned OFF the Sensor.

Try turning the Sensor ON. [emoji106]

Well I am more than impressed by the way YiHi got the NI and Ti modes. They are right on. Am using Ti 26 Ti mode 400F 13J and works perfectly so I'm sure that the manual TCR is correct also. Haven't tried it yet but may get some NiFe52 after some try it and report. I see the new ML will also have the ability to set your TCR vaping curve but I'm more then happy with the M now.

I got it. 3 times locks, 4 times menu. that is silly. have to try not to lock it before you get into menu.
I do not understand why 43j is burning my coil but the dna I can put 80w n it. sensor is on.

Nic,

What does the resistance value show as on the SMX vs the DNA?

I do not understand what you are asking. if you mean what the coil is. it is about the same. other than I got ripped off bad on some pre-made coils today. still about the same but these lasted like 5ml. they are pretty close. usually within .03 ohm if that is what you were asking. I am not sure joules is the same as watts. that is probably why the sxm takes less. it can't be that big a difference. it could be powerful plus is way more preheat than I have set on the dna. not sure why that is. it's strange. I would not think it is that big a difference. now I see what you were thinking but it is about the same ohms. I have no idea why it is that big a difference other than possibly the preheat. 43 is too much on a .25 coil on the sxm but I can push 80 on it on the dna. have no idea but I get what you were thinking.
