Just a thought @TheotherSteveS, it is "possible" that "torching" before wrapping changed the wire properties.

That is why I said stay tuned. Neither of us is pre-torching, unlike @dwcraig1. So, we will have a strict comparison once I get mine.
mine is dry pulsed etc to the point that it changes colour. It is spot on in resistance and tcr (as far as I can tell). I havent tried a coil without dry pulsing but I will...stay tuned!

Don't think that a good idea. That's what I warned against (legs snapping when no dry-burning) when you said you did not understand. But, let's hear your result.

sorry so you were saying dry burning is essential??? Even for a spaced coil for example??

Yes. It was the spaced coil legs that snapped.

May not be true for some attys but the small build area and TINY screws on the GEM snapped, at some point, on everyone of my 52 builds.

Go for it though. Ignore my experience. [emoji12]

this local guy made me some ss claptons, multi-braid. not sure where he got it or even what type it is. it is strange I find every coil needs way more aggressive settings on the dna200. at least it can serve it up. the sxmm just gives me a better vape. that's just my opinion but I have had both for a while. I do not think the ml is going to be ground breaking and I doubt they fix the paint. I will keep the trusty m class. looks like crud but continues to perform. I am not sure I could break it if I tried.

as for ss wire I am sure I saw it on a site but don't remember where now. the rda screws took me 2 hours but I will not accept that I am disabled.

Hello all,

I just recieved some Nife49. What settings do I need for the M Class?

Thanks!

You must mean NiFe 48, right?

1. Go into the Menu to Coil Select
2. Choose Manual TCR
3. Set the TCR to 0.00405
4. Hit the fire button

You can set the Resistance before or after in the usual way.

A setting for Room Temp will appear. The Default is 20 C. Use that or adjust for your actual room temp: 21, 22, 23 C &etc.

Anyone have a list of TRC values for the different types of stainless steel that are available to us

From the "TC Beyond Ni 200..." Thread

I got around to trying 316L stainless tonight. Should I be pulsing these? I tried 5 wrap 28g 2.5mm micro coil without pulsing and it was clearly not operating correctly. It seemed like it was running way to hot and was boiling and spitting juice like I have never seen before. The next coil I pulsed multiple times at 12w until the coils were firing from the middle out consistently. This coil seems to be working fine and the TC is working similar to ni200. I have the TCR set to 0.00092 with an offset of 22 and my room temp is 70. Does this sound about right on the SX Mini M class using 316L?
