Just came home from the chiropractor and saw this in the mail. It came a day early. It's smaller than I thought and feels so good in the hand[emoji2]

Thank you very much. I am enjoying it a lot. I'm finally able to put my near paintless vaporshark on the shelf lol.

I'm glad to see your put your devices to heavy use. Do the same with this one and hopefully it will look like it does the day you bought it.

On the contrary, I'm very good with handling my devices. My sigelei 100 watt plus looks just as good as when i got it almost two momths ago.The paint on my vaporshark started to peel less than a week after I received it in the mail.

And this right here substantiates my overall final thoughts on the Vapor Shark when I reviewed it. :glare: Congrats on your new SXmini, I hope it serves you well. :)

My black mini has a couple more dings on it now, but it's seen constant use (and sadly a bit of abuse) since I got it near the end of November. So the finish definitely isn't bulletproof. Thankfully the internals appear to be. If it can be broken, I'm the man who can do it. She's still chugging along like a champ, though!

My grey one is still pristine, and I'm aiming to keep it that way.

Absolutely their customer service is about the same quality of their device. Anyway thanks and it is serving me well. This little puppy hits hard. $189.99 hard! Lol.

rounding third and heading home...
Is she pregnant?

be thankful that it is a dog-i learned the hard way NEVER ask a woman if she is pregnant....especially when they aren't.....

my shoulder will never be normal again.....

too bad m00shie you would love it. just take what you spend on these cheapo clones and skip 2 or 3 and you'd have an sx mini- a purchase you would never regret. it is worth every penny and then some -especially compared to those mods that cost more without justification.

Many people seem to be happy with this mod.
Just wondering for me what would I be getting for the extra $130 for this mod than it cost me for the sigelei 100w + mod I have ?
Nothing that justifies the price it s just another mod to have ?
I have read about this and that and few more error messages but nothing that seems ground breaking.

Would future updates be available to install on all computers ?

If you're happy with your sigelei rock on. I have not used a sigelei so can't offer a comparison, but I think most people on this thread would tell you the reason the chose the sx mini is the quality of the product. The board is very accurate will work equally well with high resistance and low resistance builds. It has a solid comfortable feel in the hand with thoughtful placement of the fire button. I think it's super, but really aren't they all just another mod to have? ;)

As for upgrades the firmware is upgradable and YiHi has released several updates since the initial version. As far as I know this can only be done from windows at this time. I am still running the original firmware, but it's never given me reason to consider upgrading.

My justification for extra $130

- Power modes: Powerful, Standard, Soft options give me so much flavor control. My favorite part about SXmini!!
- Sexy form factor: It appeals to me the most among many mods out there right now.
- Peace of mind: I bought with confidence knowing that YIHI will provide top notch product and customer care. Also backed by 1-year warranty.

Honestly, it's hard to justify the price point. Especially since there are myriad of mods with similar form factor/ performance coming out lately at around or less than half the price of mini. In all reality, mini is a luxury. I would've never bought it myself...mostly because I am cheap. But now I've been using it day in and day out for over a month, I wouldn't mind buying another one if this one breaks.

It all depends on what YOU want/need.

Let me put it this way. I bought a huge pick-up truck, because I need its cargo space and horse power. It used to be my daily driver until one day I realized that I want something smaller for when I am not hauling things, so I bought a Miata. It's nimble, fuel-efficient, ... errr you get my gist.
