I think a 26650 version would be a better alternative to a dual battery. Could probably retain a similar form as the original sx mini.

My problem with that is battery sag SUCKS with one battery at higher wattage, even a 26650. Its a beautiful thing to see hitting the firing button at 100w on a dripper and the live battery meter reading barely moving, compared to hitting this on 60w and seeing it move over halfway down lol.

rounding third and heading home...
I'd pay an unreasonable amount of money for a dual battery version. My Sig100+ would be out the door with a quickness. Two (or three) SXminis and a dual battery version (or two) would pretty much be my regulated mod end game.

if i had a dollar for every time anyone said their latest and greatest anything was their "end game" i could buy yihi and give out sx mini's as gifts....heck, if i had a dollar for each time I have said it,well, i would have a ton of my $$$ back....

So I downloaded the upgrade software from Yihi's website per the instructions, but when I extract the .rar file it does not give me an .exe file. I'm getting an ".sxi" file and can't run this thing. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong here?

You need to install the SXI software on your PC first. YiHi will be putting the relevant files for the mini on the yihisxmini website soon, I'm waiting for that before I make a walkthrough video. In the meantime, you can get the SXI Driver HERE. Once you have it installed, the .sxi file will be the one you'll select within the SXI program to update. I assume you've already verified that your SXmini is running v1.2?

In other news: Subtank at 32W Soft. That is all.

so-so video. when he says it is overpriced by $40 he loses me there-if anything, compared to the present marketplace, the sx mini is underpriced for what you get. it is simply the best value in a high-end regulated mod.good luck finding a comparable mod for $150. the funny thing is, if you did find one, it would most likely be powered by a yihi board....i believe that is called irony.....

Great look forward to your video you will be far better at it than me. I am due to go back to the city later today so will get some pics for you all. Not sure if it was a error on your part and not sure if it has been covered in the thread the latest SX(350) Mini firmware is V1.3.1

To check your version on the device hold down the fire button while inserting the battery. The version will be displayed on the SX mini screen it will say something like v1.3 but I think its truncates the version number and I havent seen v1.3 sxis only 1.2 and 1.3.1 for the SX(350) mini board.

Be back later!
