I just use my wimpy ego twist with 3mg of nicotine when i have a cold.

I should clarify, it hurts to even just breathe, probably will be a few days until I can vape anything, I woke up with it this morning, just in time for Christmas. Such is life. Sorry to go off-topic.

Well, I cancelled my VaporShark order and ordered one of these this morning from VariTube, very excited, but now I have a nasty cold with burning chest, I need a Nictoine fix but it HURTS to vape!

I'm sure you will be VERY pleased. :) I "liked" that you're getting one, but not that you have a cold. ;) Hope you are well soon!

Thanks Techno. Really stupid question but I'm assuming these do not come with a battery? And which batteries are the best, I have always gone with AW IMRs but now they are Sony, LG, etc... I have a couple green wrapper batts that the salesman told me were Sonies but they don't say Sony on them anywhere, any way to tell if they are legit Sony?

Batteries not included..

I had a store credit at RTD Vapor, and decided to try a couple of KeepPower 2500 mAh IMR batteries (flat top) out. I wanted something for the SXmini comparable to my stash of Sony VTC5's, and these fit the bill nicely. ;) These are LG HE2 cells.. As you can see from this comparison chart, they are every bit as good as the VTC5 @ 7 amps (and beyond), down to 3.3v. I've been using them for a few days now, and indeed find this to be true.. :) Please note that I do not intend to push these past their 20 amp constant / 35 amp max pulse rating. (Perfect for my needs with the SXmini)

Here is a link to spot counterfeit VTC5's:

Here is a link to the battery comparator that I use: (Excellent source of battery info)

EDIT: I also want to add that I ONLY purchase batteries from trusted vendors who are familiar with their use for vaping: (Too damn many counterfeits floating around)

rounding third and heading home...
well, i have been vaping with my sx mini for a couple of days now and i can honestly say it is the finest mod i have ever owned and/or vaped with...i have a kanger subtank with the .5 coil vaping at 25 watts in soft mode and i have never had as flavorful and consistant a vape as this. still trying to get my head around all this can do and working through the different settings for memory ,etc. i don't think i have ever had as good an experience just figuring this mod out. it is amazing- the build quality is as good as i have ever seen and i have quite a few high-end mods. i must say i come down on the yihi side as far as the board goes- nothing against evolv, but temp control never interested me and just the fact that this board/chip can be upgraded is a major plus in my book....
one question to those owners. i have the warranty card and it says you can go to their site and confirm it is genuine. i have looked on their site and can't find any place to verify the mod i have is real and i can't find anyplace to register or complete any warranty information. what am i missing?. could someone tell me where on their site you can do this and is it necessary?. i have a copy of the bill-of-sale , what else would i need to get work done if i needed it under the 1(one) year warranty? any help would be appreciated....
all-in-all, i can easily say this is the best mod i will ever own and as soon as possible i will get at least one more. those spending as much or more on another mod are missing the boat IMHO but that could be a good thing if it allows me to purchase before they are impossible to find. as far as my vaping needs , i can't imagine anything being better....

EDIT: It's not available till the middle of next month.. From what I gather, as long as one has the warranty card and receipt, it's enough.. It appears only to check if the device is a counterfeit anyway.. No warranty registration.

I'm running a LG HE2 in my mini and I highly recommend them. Just make sure to purchase the from a reliable source for authenticity. I purchase mine from GenuineCells on eBay.

Same cell I posted about above, but from a trusted ECF vendor.. ;) One thing I learned here years ago.. Never purchase batteries from eBay..

Got mine yesterday. Had a 20-hour work day, so not much time to mess with all of the setting yet. So far initial impressions are impressed. Build quality is top-notch. Feels great in-hand (minus 2 corners on bottom front) and love that the charging port is on the front rather than on the bottom. Used it yesterday with Vertex V2 RDA, and today with this Lemo Drop that came in today. Do not regret the $190 spent at all.

GenuineCells has always done right by me, also. very friendly and easy to talk with. never had a problem with any of their cells and would do business with them again in a heartbeat........

I was going to buy the Variant clone for the same price, friend has one and its built really really nice, but the overpowered chip at lower wattages, ans spending that much money on a clone with no warranty, I said what are you thinking and bought the Mini. Authentic, warranty, top tier quality...think I made the right choice.
