I get to join the sx mini club

Only has it up and running for about a hour, but I am loving the mini, solid device and feels really good in the hand. I am vaping at my normal 25watts and it is vaping so much better than my other mods.

I am normally a cheap mod buyer, but Nikki turned me onto this mod, and been following this thread for a little while, and can agree with everyone in here, it is very much worth the money.

God Bless America... all of these Aqua V2 attys on the SX Mini. Ordering now. :2cool:

sorry, yihi, but on this you are just wrong. saying you have a spring-loaded 510 connection is not the same thing as stating the you must not adjust the slotted screw inside the 510 connection. anyone who vapes and sees that screw would believe it was adjustable. especially if you never stated that it wasn't adjustable. i would think that the screw could be adjusted in or out to alter the length of the spring-loaded throw. it is an honest and quite natural mistake unless it is stated in your paperwork not to do that. instead you just say it is spring-loaded and leave it at that. now you are revising the product with a flat screw head(which should have been in it from the beginning.)
this is from an owner who has had no issues with my sx mini. this is not"sour grapes" just an honest response to yihi. i suppose you are in your rights to not warrant someone who adjusted that screw and broke it. i still think that is wrong. look, i have been one of the biggest fans of this device- i love it and will continue to tell anyone how great it is, but on this one issue i think you are wrong and will continue to say so. if someone messed up their 510 connection because you put in a slotted screw and never wrote to not touch that screw you should repair it. period. end of comment....

edit-i re-read the manual that came with my device. NO mention of the 510 connection. under"precautions" might have been a nice place to mention the 510 connection and not to tinker with the screw-you didn't.
I know not to adjust spring loaded 510 pins after reading such a statement for a product description for the IPV 2 V2. These devices are not defective, this is how they, and others, are manufactured. Only reason I can think that they have slots is for the manufacturing process.

Now, if Yihi or the vendor did not mention that adjusting the 510 pin voids the warranty, a case can be made. I've yet to read the user manual for the SX mini and am not sure if this us mentioned.

Edit: Saw a post earlier in this thread that this isn't mentioned in the manual. That's BS, they need to honor the warranty on this.

Sweet! And so much nicer looking with the gray Lemo too  High five babes!

SX Mini has landed. I was expecting a black one and was kind of remorseful that I wasn't getting the gray. Well, turns out I got a gray one! This thing is built superbly. Vapes amazingly and looks awesome. The only flaw I can find on mine is a small blem on the back cover near the bottom seam. It's almost imperceptible. I think I can live with it. 510 threads are probably the nicest of any device I've owned and it feels great in the hand. Fire button is sublime and the display is sharp and bright. I really, really like this thing.

I'm also reasonably sure I need another one now.

Honey I am a little worried for you on this, this price is just not possible, unless this vendor figured out a way to steal them. Also you should know that Yihi will not honor the warranty if anything goes wrong with the device. To use your warranty you need your unique ID and proof of purchase to show how much you paid and who you got it from.

i must admit if i could get the sx at this price i wouldn't care about the warranty- i would be getting at least 4 and break one out as the one before it had issues. having said that one of the things i like about the sx mini is the controlled price point. generally everyone is getting it at about the same price. there might be a slight difference but not enough to create hurt feelings. i know when i see it in stock i don't have to spend a lot of time hunting for a huge discount on some other site. yihi did it right holding the line on the price- considering what some other mods cost that don't even begin to match the quality and features, the sx mini, while not cheap , is one of the best bargains i have ever seen in vaping. can't tell you how much i have spent over the years on gear that wasn't worth it at any price. anyone complaining about the price either hasn't been around or just likes to complain. it is the best value around, IMHO.......

Congratulations Nailzy! I know it was hard for a cheap Brit like yourself to part with the cash, but I bet you are sure glad that you did!

I am just worried about my friend. :( There is nothing wrong with finding a good discount (wink and smile) but this price is not plausible from all that I know about this device, and I know a fair amount about it. Authorized vendors are not even getting it wholesale for this price, so how would a Chinese vendor have it to sell at this price and and still make a profit? And like some have commented, you can't even buy the SX350 mini chip for 77 bucks, let alone the whole device.

Yihi found a way to stop Evkoo, and I guess they will find a way to stop this vendor too if they find out about it (I ain't tellin though), especially since they are China based and Yihi has a trademark on the SXmini. Way back when I spoke to Cari about the Evkoo situation, she said she would sue any unauthorized vendor who publicly sold their device .. I laughed, but she was dead serious.

All that being said, I am staying tuned because I can't lie, very curious to see how this will pan out.

Sorry bro, I feel partially responsible since I'm the jackwad who posted that link.

But... if you actually receive it and it's the real deal, you owe me like $90.

For whatever reason it never really occurred to me to experiment with Soft mode using a dripper. Usually when I'm dripping I'm lung hitting, and I'm primarily a mouth-to-lung vaper. So when I pull out the TOBH or Mutation, it means I'm in the mood for a POWERFUL vape, right? So naturally, I've been using Powerful mode exclusively with RDA's.

I prefer a moderate-to-warm vape. Dripping in Soft mode allows me to not only set the high power threshold, but by dialing up 6 or 8 watts above what I would normally vape a given juice at in Standard mode (or on a mod that doesn't have firing modes), I can slow or abort my draw as soon as I feel my ideal warmth approaching that threshold. I can literally get a perfect vape at the exact warmth I prefer every single time. I've been dripping GLV's High Five tonight, which is a tobacco/oak/bourbon blend. I've been hooked on this stuff since around July of last year (picked up 190ml of it at VapeMania without batting an eye, and I always have a couple bottles on the shelf) and I have NEVER gotten the mixture of notes I'm getting from this juice at 46 watts Soft. The tobacco and oak really start coming out at higher temps, so I can control exactly how much of that flavor I want along with the vanilla and bourbon which manifest early by using a higher wattage setting, Soft mode, and controlling my draw.

This thing has literally changed the way I vape.

Mind = blown.

Everyone calm down about the Sony VTC batteries. Sony can not stop making them because they have to fufill contracts and a rep from the company actually went talked with one of the Youtube Vape channels and stated they have no problem with their use in APVs.

The actual issue is that a certain reactor leaked and caused Sony to have to move their factory. Since they have to fufill large contracts first, the supply for any other buyers is very restricted until production ramps up. Sony is actually ramping their production up to higher than it was before so in a few months VTCs will be very easy to find.

If you want VTC4s Sweet Vapes, My Vapor Store, and Vapor Beast all have them in stock for ~$12 each.

I try not to vape my baby while charging, if I do its like a sporadic toot here and there, usually when I am nosing around the net and not paying attention to what I am doing  I decided that I want another one  But ... I .. don't need it

Another one sounds good to me also. I started to get a second one last night with that 25% off sale, but the sale ended while I was thinking about it. It's for sure a "want" thing and not a "need" thing though. However, if the one Nelson has coming for $77 pans out to be for real you can believe I will get one or two or maybe more.

I know Ive gushed a lot about this thing, but its gotta be said, ive never been so infatuated with a device in all my vaping life, and ive owned or own a lot of things. Ive gotten excited about other devices I bought at the time but this is a whole other level, its almost unhealthy how much I love the SX Mini.
I THOROUGHLY hope YiHi releases future offerings with their new flagship chips.
