Update: I think the 2 slots compared to the one is a better route. The reason lies in the fact that the filler gets liquid flow from both sides thus suppling the majority of the bottom filler faster... I have only used the one slot cartos until now and as we know they work. Not to mention the filler absorbs the liquid reguardless... My conclusion is a faster more even wicking with two slits... Just my theory and experience between the 2.

I agree .. at first I was only doing one slot however I chain vape and the one slot just seemed to not wick as fast as I wanted it to. So I started cutting two slots and it just seems to wick better and faster for me. I use a very thick caramel based 50% VG juice, if I was using a lighter juice then the one slot would probably work fine.

Sure wish I could get a carto to last more than 2 days though, I think it must be because my juice is so dark and thick. The carto doesnt stop working, just eventually gets harder to draw on, so then I toss it and use a new one

Some of you are getting many many days on one carto .. would love to know why I dont .. probably cuz of my juice?

It's certainly a good candidate. Sweeter/darker/thicker juices have always clogged up my cartos more quickly. I can get up to 2 weeks on a carto if I use the "right" juices.

I found a way to make my SS Liquinator stop spinning. I used the Liquinator SS bottom cap and tube and the top cap from an SS Map DCT. No sliding at all. Works great.

You may be on to something there. I was going to try this with a delrin cap from a blown CE2 map tank but I stuck a carto in to the MAP tank and it got stuck so bad could not get it out, even with vise grips (it put me into a pretty major rage actually). I assume the DCT MAPs are a bit looser :).

The point is the top and bottom caps perform slightly different functions so they shouldn't necessarily be designed the same way. Bottom cap looser for ease of filling, top cap tighter to hold it on the tank -- this tighter cap only comes in to play when changing cartos, so should only be once a week if you're lucky!

Too bad Vaporescence doesnt read these threads so they won't get this idea. Maybe the other vendors are!

Actually, thinking about this more, when you fill the tank you have to move the carto thru both caps so it wouldn't make THAT much difference, but might work a bit better (you would only be "fighting" the top cap when you were refilling rather than both caps.

I have 3 tanks Menthol , Hawaiian Punch & Cotton Candy . Called Vaporescence about my loosey , goosey steel tank that looks awesome on my chrome SB by the way . I'm sending it back first thing 2morrow & just put a fresh carto in the Cotton Candyafter using the same carto for 4 wks , Now that is frigg'in AWESOME !
In this last month I've come to the conclusion that the cartos last longer than the dual coils & less problems .

Every time I try to use a dual coil , it either leaks , gurgles or takes some fiddling to get it started . The Boge cartos work with no hassle from start 2 finish . Hope this new one lasts another 4 wks at this rate 15 cartos should last a year & maybe I can start seeing how vaping saves money . Dang I love this tank !

I tried it after scoring a 901 finally! Here's what I find... It works, however, it still requires farting around.... And that is why i bought this device in the first place... You do need an extender with the help of the adaptors... I have been excited about trying this and now that I did...meh, not impressed... I STILL can't believe that I am a carto convert... The word vaping bliss comes to mind when I think of the liquinator used as intended!

I don't have any farting around on mine do you have both adapters? Cause you said you didn't. You just had one, and it doesn't work right with just the one adapter.

I have to admit that the dual-coil idea from the cartomator works perfect. One single Pin dot and it never leaks and keeps up even during chain vaping. Not sure of the logic behind it, but I think Cuseguy explains the reasoning somewhere.

I have this same problem doesn't seem to matter what I do I get two days at the most out of a cart. I also vape dark juice but not really sweet or thick. I have been blaming it on constant vaping. I can sit and vape all day. I make sure im not chain vaping and give the cart a good cool down if it starts to get warm. But still all day on one cart has to be hard on it.

I'm still baffled by all of this - need a video!

I guess the idea is that liquid does not actually flow through the hole on its own. If it did, it would fill up the empty carto chamber (or atty chamber) until it reached the level of the tank. This would flood the atty.
[snippage ensues]

VapPornrules, I was puzzled about the same thing. It seems like once it sought it's own level above the top of the air tube, it would just run out. I asked about this a hundred pages back, have now forgotten the answer, but someone said that it shouldn't. It doesn't, and I am using 100% PG juice, pretty thin.

I guess if the carto filler is dense enough to stop the passage of juice from wicking on it's own above the air tube, that would be one answer.

I just got two sets of O-rings from Vaporesence to fix my lose tank. I have to say I was very impressed with the CS experience. I called Friday and explained the situation and they shipped the O-Rings out that day. I installed them and this has fixed the problem. The tank is not as tight as some I have seen but it is 10X better than it was. I can hold my PV by the tank no slipping and it doesn't just rotate freely on the cart anymore. I will have no fear of taking this with me on the go anymore.

I'm strictly DIY, but I tend to use lighter flavors and never add sweetener.

I tried DIY, I was terrible at it, when you do it do you just use one flavoring? I was mixing several flavorings together plus the nic juice but never could get it to stop tasting nasty. I know some people use fruit flavoring and just mix that with nic, but oh my goodness, I dont like fruit flavors.

Honestly, At this point, I am soooo satisfied with a 510 carto, that I dont even care about using a 901 anymore. But to answer you question, no I don't have both adaptors.

How many days are you getting out of your cartos? Anyone? Everyone?

Well, I can say this... when I was using a thick juice like AVE... 3 days and then I would get the E-3 error on the provari... since I switched and am using a much thinner liquid TTTE... I havent lost one yet and thats going on 5 days now... I also am a chain vapor....
