thank you for good info

which tank do u recommend? --

Hi blues!

I would recommend the GP-SSR from GoodProphets.com.

The GP-SSR allows for the CE2 to be easily replaced, along with having the capabilities of adjusting the airflow through the tank.

If someone was going to do the Hybrid Tank MOD, I would then recommend the MAP Tank, only because I like the delrin caps on the MAP Tank better. The Hybrid Tank MOD is an easy MOD that converts a MAP Tank into a GP-SSR.

Hope this helps!

Thought people may find this helpful. Here are two videos that review most of the tanks on this list. She does a good job although I'd like to have seen 'jonboy's on here too.

Part 1

Part 2
(a little out of sync on my end)

Turbo..I agree, I think she should have looked at Jonboy's tanks. I really like them.

Quick Question people. I want a mini MAP tank. Problem is as we all know, they aren't made anymore. My question is is the only difference between regular CE2 and CE2 XL the length? My thought was if the diameter of them are the same, then I could buy a MAP tank, shorten up the tube, and install a regular CE2 in order to have a mini MAP tank.

Hi Dalton!

The Mini MAP Tank uses a regular CE2 with a polycarbonate tank tube that is 29mm in length.

You can convert your regular MAP Tank into a mini Map Tank by using a regular CE2 and a polycarbonate tube for the tank that is 29mm in length.

Check the "Hybrid Tank MOD" link in my first post (fifth one down) for information on purchasing the polycarbonate tubing that is needed for this conversion.

So the hole in the bottom Delrin cap that actually holds the CE2 is the same diameter? That's perfect then. Can't wait to have a mini MAP!

Also, is this a safe place to order them from? It seems like CoV never has them in stock...

Actually I already have Lexan tubing in several diameters, so I should be good to go LOL.
