Yuck!

I get your point.

If I buy a chocolate tobacco, from a certain vendor, and it tastes like vomit and hairspray to me, then I may need to steep it. If I steep it for 2 weeks, and it still tastes like vomit and hairspray, then there is a problem. Either it was mixed incorrectly, or it needs steeped for multiple months. If a vendor is going to sell a product that need steeped for multiple months, then that needs to be part of the advertising for this product. I've bought 2 different products from 2 different vendors, that were disgustingly unvapable. 1 steeped out, the other did not. I have no interest in buying a product I can't use for 2 months, especially when I wasn't told that is what it would take. And I now what chocolate and tobacco tastes like. I can take some pretty large variances in those flavors to. But come on.

99% of the time I've tried the "OMG get this juice!" I am disappointed.
"Taste is subjective" simply means what I like you may not like, and what you like I may not like. It doesn't mean chicken doesn't taste like chicken. If some vendor sold you filet minion that tasted like chicken, that is not "subjective".

Steeping should be done by vendors.

This is almost exactly the case at my house. We have a few we agree on but it's rare. Although now that I think about it, she's always the one that likes and steals my juice, not the other way around. Hmm...Heck my wife and I love the same foods, but haven't agreed on a juice we both like ever!![]()
Steeping should be done by vendors. I'd rather be told order 2 weeks in advance and get the juice at its best than have to figure out how to make it not taste like trash. Fanboys also need to stop recommending juice just to help out their buddies.
The other thing, stop skimping on flavor there is plenty of profit to put a couple more drops in to give it a real kick.
except many vendors i have dealt with have provided me the answer "taste is subjective" when i ordered a vanilla flavor and it tasted like everclear, even after a week with the cap off. Which is why i no longer do business with them.
This is one of my peeves! There are a few vendors I won't order from any longer because their stuff all has an overpowering alcohol smell/taste. I realize some flavorings have an alcohol base, but there really is no way to tell if this is what I need to avoid, or if it's in the manufacturing process the vendor uses (pre-steeping and whatnot). Understandably, there's some info the vendors just might not be willing to share!
Another peeve are the vendors with perfume or "chemical" undertones to their juices. This is next to impossible to guess before sampling.
The above peeves are not subjective, IMHO. None of these tastes should be in juice. Yet I must be one of the unfortunate ones that can notice them, because these vendors certainly have enough customers to stay in business!![]()
