SXK nebula.
Btw.: The name Nebula made some confusion. First it appeared on SXKs Hana V4 style box and I thought they named the box Nebula. But now you can find Nebula in all SXK TC mod related advertisement and on some mods like the new Zero Mini. I guess they named their whole TC line Nebula.

Hi everyone. I've read through the last twenty pages, and I've learnt a little bit about titanium. I've a few questions...

I'm using a VS RDNA40. it doesn't have titanium mode. Am I right to assume that to get a similar temp with nickel that's at 420f I've to set my temp with titanium at 330f?

Also, my titanium wire gives off a dark stain of some sort on my fingers when I am trying to make a coil. Is this tio2 or are my coils just "dirty"? My coils are still shiny somewhat. Using some titanium grade 1 wire off eBay.

How do you make the wire less springy as you make your coil? The springiness of it makes it hard for me to do a contact coil.

Thanks for answering my questions!

Steam-engine has a tool called 'Wire Wizard', it has a ni200 equivalent feature, here is the output for Titanium Gr1:

So yes, without doing math, based on that 330F seems about right.

Wipe your Ti with alcohol and a paper towel, then wash it off before wrapping your coils, it just needs to be cleaned up.

Coil jig can help with contact coil even with springy wire. Another thing you can try is to anneal it a bit before wrapping.

Good luck.

ThunderDan you are the man! Thanks for tips. The math you guys do here is insane in terms of finding the perfect vape.

Oh and one more question! If I did make a contact coil, how do I check for hot spots? Currently I'm just stroking it as much as I can without dry burning, vape a full tank and then check if my gunk is building inside out.
