I was talking to T earlier about the weather system that is headed dead for me. Well when I told him that we will most likely lose power, his first thoughts were exactly the same as mine! Make sure that you have plenty of charged batteries for your Buzz was his advice! Great minds think alike I tell you! :D

You are not far from me. I am in the Upstate of SC in the foothills. We actually have a generator since we are in a very rural area. Like I told T, we have an extension cord dedicated to nothing but batteries!
Be safe and stay warm.

BTW- I do have a 5V PT and cig lighter adapter if worse came to worse. lol

Yep! We are in for a good snow we're being told! No milk and bread left at the grocery stores! LOL
It's so comical how we Southerners act when they call for snow.

I work at home so I am really fortunate that I don't have to worry about getting to work. Hubby only works a mile away and he has a 4x4 truck anyway.

I've got 2 PCC's that I'm gonna make sure are all charged up - at least I'll get a few charges out of them if our power goes out.

I have a P/T that works in my car if worse comes to worse - let's hope not!

That is so true! I went to the grocery store about 9PM tonight and it looked like a war zone! The canned food was wiped out! As well as the bread and milk. Actually that was not the strangest thing that I saw in the store. There was a girl shopping with nothing more then a coat on! Seriously. No pants, no undergarments, just a coat. We knew for sure because she bent over a few times. Strangest thing that I have seen in a store to date.

Tuesday we may get a frozen mix but we have been getting that all this month lol We had the bad one 2 weeks ago but now its snow, snow for 20 minutes then it rains for about 30 minutes and over and over again. I hope everyone can successfully vape IF their power goes off. I would hate to see your irate forum post when the power comes back on lol

I'm sure I'm telling you something you already know, but this is my favorite place for tracking storms:

Intellicast - Interactive Weather Map

It shows weather radar for all over the Country and has lots of additional features such as snow cover, etc.

Right now it looks like the storm is moving north-east and I'm sorry 757girl, but it could be knocking on your door too. It looks like the Carolinas are going to get hit hard.

That Ab is a sneaky little devil, but I swear, he's not here in East Texas. I did have him on the phone though and he muttered something about going to salem's grocery store and hung up. He never did say what was on his mind ....

Well, they just upped us to 6-10 inches... Looks like I am not going anywhere for awhile. :)

Yeah, I was wondering how all that was going to work out for you Nixdaddy. Take it easy in that stuff. There will be plenty of goofy people out there trying to drive in it. Keep us posted on how it goes in NC. And if you miss school, will they make you stand in the corner or anything? They used to do that to me. In fact, a large part of my education was obtained while standing in the corner.

Ugh...we're expecting more snow tomorrow night just in time to mess up the morning traffic on Wednesday. I already drive an hour to get to work and it really is ugly when it snows...grr...

Well, they closed everything down at the college, so I'm good to go lol.

Back in high school & jr. high, I never got stood in a corner. But I did meet (or at least my .... did) the Principals large wooden paddle with the holes in it a few times....

Hey there LD. We have tons of snow and still falling but no ice yet. I hope that the forecast is wrond and the ice never comes! I hate not having electricity! You probably have a well too so you know that even though we do have a generator we will have no running water. Bath tubs and every container that I have are full. I knew that we put that 2 person jacuzzi in the master bath for a reason! lol

That's exactly how it is here when a hurricane is approaching. That's very strange about the girl only wearing a coat!
