How "mini" is it? I've gotten so used to my iStick that I really don't want anything even close to "full sized". I really have my heart set on a Vapor Shark dna 30, but its a bit out of my price range.

how about a 20x1 mech mod? that might be even smaller than an istick/av2 combo.

I still really like this tank.

Even though yesterday it gave me fits with an ever fluctuating resistance reading. Turns out that I had loosened one of the contact screws when re wicking and then had it loose again after a complete breakdown and recoil. It all makes me almost prefer the old Aqua's setup of post nuts instead of these eyeholes.

I had my first Aqua v2 mishap today due to this. I took the atty off to fill the tank and when I replaced it my mod read it at .6 instead of .3 so I got a nice lungful of scorched rayon yum. I found a loose post screw and after tightening it my mod now reads the correct resistance immediately.

aqua v2 will be here in few days.. i'm really enjoying my taifun gt right now. i'm hoping aqua v2 will have better air flow and better flavor. otherwise.. man, i'll be disappointed.

I haven't had the Aqua v2 that long but I would definitely rate it higher then my Taifun GT. A ton more airflow if you want it, you can fully break down the Aqua v2 for cleaning vs the pressfit base on the GT, flavor is just as good as the GT IMO and just as easy to build without the finicky wicking on the GT.

The v2 is by far the best wicking tank i have ever used. Out if curiosity i connected an electric pump to the drip tip and it drained the entire tank without drying in one giant long 3ml drag.
Thats without vacuum of inhaling!

I definitely can't do that with mine, .3 parallel single coil build I had it at 32W 3.2v and after 4s I was sucking rayon. Turned it down to 29W 3V and i can go more than 6 seconds no problem. I'm considering a higher ohm build but to be honest the performance is good where it is, getting a cooler but tasty vape, still practically no warm up time and my battery life on the 100+ has been awesome with this build.

Anybody have any wicking tips? The first time I wicked this with Rayon it worked flawlessly. But since changing wicks, I'm getting a bit of gurgling and slight leakage. I know I should be packing the wicking material down into the juice channels which is what I have done both times now. But for whatever reason on the second wicking, I am getting gurgling. Can anyone post some pictures of a good method to wick this?

Don't forget you can close down your juice/air control. Any atty with juice control can be adjusted to your wick. On the Aquav2, they work together. As you turn the tank on the base, the juice and airflow can be tightened up or opened up. If you have flooding, tighten it up. You want it where its not flooding or dry hitting.

I'll share my build: 2 28g coils, 8 wraps each on 3/32" (2.4mm) for 0.8ohm. I thread my wicks, and seperate tails for the vertical wick channels. I cut my tails above the little semi-circular wells at the bottom of each channel. Then I trim the big wick shoulders on the deck to the base edges. Its a curvedbarbering so they match with the curve of the base. I run my juice/air about 2/3-3/4 open.
