A Christmas Miracle! Just as it seemed my fasttech "Authentic" Aqua V2 was lost in the mail, it showed up in my mailbox on Christmas Eve!

.....and was quickly confiscated by my wife, who wrapped it up and put it under the tree.

Opened it today, and put a dual coil build with 28ga wire @ 0.8Ω and running it at 25 Watts on my other Christmas toy, the iPV Mini.

While I will never truely call it authentic, as it wasn't purchased from Footoon, I fully believe it is exactly what fasttech said it was. Made in the same factory, with the same equipment and tooling, probably at the same time. Machining and finish is perfect on it. Heck, it even has the the space cut in the foam where the authenticity card would be....had I purchased it from Footoon.

Well worth the purchase price. I've tried and built many tank style atomizers, and the Aqua V2 ranks at the top for flavor, which is always very important to me.

Tiny as in actually small or tiny as in super thin?
If its super thin but big diameter it goes around the chimney base where the tank screws on.
If its tiny as in small diameter, then IIRC thats a piece in the base, not sure how that would come off in a wash. How far did you strip down?
Yeah tiny as in diameter, I've got the chimney one in place. I did strip it right down! I agree it has to go in the base, I'll have to take another look...........

i think it goes on the positive screw between the base insulator and the post insulator... it also took me a while to figure it out...
I agree! I searched through some YouTube reviews and caught sight of it! I think it must stop juice leaking down the positive post past the insulator. Solved. .........thanks for posting!

OTM if you want what was originally listed as the Authentic and OEM. 316L SS vs 304 of the others, *amazing* threads, no flaws or faults. Its by far the best quality atty clone Ive ever seen if it isnt authentic. Hell its nicer than some of my authentics. At $35 (before coupon) it is quite a bit more than the $20 Tobeco so you just gotta determine if that is worth it to you.
It was worth every penny to me, quality really is amazing in every aspect.
The Tobeco got good reviews also though and it will perform just as good, its just authentic quality (whether it really is authentic or not) vs good clone quality, thats what it boils down to.

Arken - I have the OEM/Authentic from FT and a Tobeco version. The "Authentic" is a better built one, and it has the 316 SS. The Tobeco is good quality, but the connection holes on the positive and negative posts are a bit off on mine. One was drilled too close to the side so it became a "c" instead of an "o". That particular hole cannot be used to connect to the coil to. The threads on the tank are a little rougher, but not too bad. That does not stop it from working, but it just shows a little less quality control in the manufacturing stage of things. It was less money and a little less quality. Again, it works fine and only time will tell if the 316 SS over the 304 SS is an issue. Probably not.
