Great suggestion. Will try when my Aqua 2 arrives from FT.I found a piece of very dense foam in the box my Efest charger came in. Rolled a little foam tube and stuffed the unused channel. No juice is getting through now.

Sorry, my bad.. I don't use the thin sections but rather the conical piece that is on the bottom cap of the cart. I cut it in half and then trimmed to fit the juice slots.
That being said, you should also be able to cut and fit the little silicone plug that sits in the top of the carto. White piece below..

No. I find the opposite. It wicks extremely well, and I don't even need primer puffs, unlike a KFL style.
That sounds like there's something contaminating the material you're wicking with. I'm assuming you do a dry burn before wicking to clean the coil and you're washing your hands with soap and water right before wicking- if not, try that first. Otherwise I'd check all my tools and work surfaces for any oil, etc. that might have gotten on them that's transferring to your hands or the wick. Because what you describe is not in any way 'normal'.I really love the Aqua V2 but has anyone else noticed that it has a relatively long break in period when changing wicks? It does not seem to matter which type of wick material or thickness in the channels or coil, I always experience a rather long break in time when compared to say a Kayfun, Orchid or even genesis set up with rayon or cotton.

Good luck.
A couple other thing come to mind. The first is mainly a problem when using rayon: If there's too much rayon in the coil, as in too tight, there will be a "nutty" taste. If it's moderately too tight this will go away, but it it's really excessive you might taste it a lot longer. If there's too little rayon in the coil you can get a taste akin to a dry hit, where the juice burns off the coil. I have had builds that had not enough rayon (but was close) that tasted okay as long as I didn't take a long draw, but when I did take a long draw or chain vaped it, the taste got harsh. But you said you've tried more and less wick and different wick material and it didn't help, so...
Another thing was the oil that some Aqua clones came shipped with. One I got was filthy with this foul smelling oil, and it took a LOT of cleaning to get rid of all the odor. The other one was fine so it's the luck of the draw, I guess. I'm pretty sure you'd have noticed this, though!
I'm gonna take your advise and clean it again.
Subohming on a Kayfun doesn't quite provide the vape that duals on an Aqua V2 does , it's a harsher vape IMO .The dual coils @ .6 ohms is working out really well with the lower nic level -- I am not wanting more, unlike the same liquid in a 1.2 ohm single coil build in the Av2 or KFL clones. When the time comes to switch fully over to 12mg, I'll either have to sub-ohm on the KFL clones or buy more Aqua V2's![]()

Jeff if you're looking for a single coil flavor atty that can take the heat I'd suggest looking at a Rose V2 clone , between the ceramic cup and peek insulater it's a natural for it . I regularly run .4 - .5 single coil Gplat builds in mine . They're dam near bulletproof . Of course there ain't nuttin wrong with having a couple more Aqua V2's either .Well, I'm not looking forward to itI've already had to replace the insulators on a few with regular 1.2 ohm type builds. And really, there just isn't enough airflow for sub-ohm, unless you're handy with a drill, which I'm not. I'll probably just end up buying a few more of these.
Any fix for the tank wobble? It's not a deal breaker and mine barely does it, only when I try to make it wobble. I have the angelcig one with the otm on the way. I was thinking of trying a bigger oring but the stock one is pretty beefy already.
